  1. Official: Ford Ranger Tremor (North America) Confirmed for Later 2026!

I'll wait to see pricing, but you could probably upfit an XLT into a more capable version of the Tremor for cheaper than the package cost... Thats kind of the approach I took with mine before the Tremor was an option. Of course I recognize that a lot of people wouldn't want to deal with that...
  2. BAK Revolver X4S Fitment Issues on 2025 Ranger Lariat

Pretty hard to tell how much room there is (if any), but it would probably only take a couple more of those ridges to engage with the clamp to get it to lay flat. Thats why you half-tighten it - once you tap it with the mallet the additional ridges engage and then you can fully tighten it down...
  3. BAK Revolver X4S Fitment Issues on 2025 Ranger Lariat

Get a rubber mallet, half-tighten the clamps then tap the rails near the clamps so that the rails lay flat. Mine did that until I used a mallet and it lays perfectly flat now. These do take some tinkering, but once its properly installed it is satisfactory. I also put some spacers at the...
  4. Ditch Light Bracket and Garmin PowerSwitch Install

It would be good practice to fuse the lights with a fuse block or inline fuses.
  5. Ditch Light Bracket and Garmin PowerSwitch Install

Im running the powerswitch setup too. If you plan to run other lights, I might suggest running a ground block and fuse block on your mount (nicely done), which is what I ultimately wound up doing on mine. Are you lights fused?
  6. Lower valance aux fog lights installed on 2025 Ranger XLT

    I use the Garmin Powerswitch
  7. Ford App Autostart

But is it actually draining the battery that fast? Just feels like the threshold for the sleep function is set too high (or maybe those things drain the battery faster than I am expecting).
  8. Ford App Autostart

Mine goes into sleep mode way too quickly too. Im away from the truck through the winter and planned to periodically start it remotely every so often, but unfortunately thats impossible since it goes into sleep after a couple weeks. Can't imagine my battery is draining that fast unless there...
  9. New MBRP Black Coated Exhaust Tip

I don't think that throwing a tip on changes the sound. Based on my experience, the sound changes when you cut back the OEM exhaust to add a new tip. It isn't the tip that changes the noise, its shortening the exhaust. YMMV
  10. Leveled XLT with 2.5" inch level kit, KMC IMS on 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT4

Not to hijack but here’s another photo w +25 on 275/70r17 (Method 707, Wildpeaks). I think my setup would be very tight w 285s. Mine is also leveled 2.5". With this offset I highly recommend mud flaps of some sort (ideally with some flare off the sides). The sides of my truck were getting...
  11. Calling All Ranger Enthusiasts! Pick Your No.1 Floor Mat Tread Pattern

I prefer a mat that has a good lip all the way around the edges, but doesn't have deep tread. Shallow and minimal tread traps sand and dirt fine, deep tread doesn't really do anything (don't need traction) other than making it harder to clean in my opinion.
  12. Morimoto lights galore

No issues whatsoever - other than self-inflicted. I replaced the OEM screws with black ones that corroded and now I can't get them out. But thats my own fault.
  13. New A-Pillar Light Brackets + Exclusive Ranger6G Discount Code

I dont have mine to measure, but it is actually kind of nice to be able to rotate the Morimoto bracket so that you can position the lights with more flexibility. Mine is set up with the back light tucked behind the front one slightly.
  14. New A-Pillar Light Brackets + Exclusive Ranger6G Discount Code

I used the AAL bracket and then bolted the Morimoto double bracket on top of it. Works perfectly. I know AAL said they were thinking of fabricating a similar double bracket, which would be nice, but the setup is pretty clean as-is and functions perfectly.
  15. Aux switches

Ausmotion sells some mounts that might work - although you would need to confirm whether fitment differs between US and Australian Rangers. I used the Garmin Powerswitch and I really like it. It integrates to your phone and there is a carplay app that integrates to your touchscreen. No need...
  16. Help with selecting the correct leveling kit.

To add to my prior post - My Method 707s are +25 offset. Im pretty sure the 703s are +35, so you may have a little more clearance than I do. Bottom line I'm virtually certain that your intended setup will work.
  17. MOLLE Bed Panels Coming Soon (from American Adventure Lab)!

Its a single unit that you buy, but it ships in two pieces that connect in the center. I have it installed on mine, and other than removing the existing tie down bolts (which was a real pain), it was a clean and easy install and a high quality product. I have a Bak X4s too and there is not...
  18. Help with selecting the correct leveling kit.

I have exactly that leveling kit, with exactly those tires, and almost exactly those wheels (Method 707). It is tight at full lock, but I can confirm they fit with no rubbing. I have not removed crash bars or modified the wheel liner at all. Mine is a 2024 XLT, FX4. I should add - I put the...
  19. What is your unexpected favorite feature?

When your lights are on and you turn the wheel, the fog light on that side turns on (wide beam) to illuminate that corner. Thats how it works on the XLT at least. It is very noticeable if you have it. I think the Raptor and maybe the Lariat have a similar function built into the main...
  20. What is your unexpected favorite feature?

I know im going to get some hate on this one, but I really like the corner illuminating feature. Super handy when Im driving through dark and unfamiliar roads or streets late at night. Tons of deer in my area, and while It hasn't saved me (or them) yet, I feel like it could. I know a lot of...
