I made an appointment for the dealership to look at it, but the earliest I could get was Jan 27. We'll see. I know at least one person on this forum already had their transmission replaced.
I'm also in CO and I've got the same truck and the same problem. For me it started pretty soon after buying it in April. I get hard shifts on acceleration or deceleration, generally only between the lowest 2 or 3 gears. It is definitely worse in the cold. I plan to take it in soon.
Of course you can! Like Alaska Steve said make sure the map app is enabled for car play - settings > General > CarPlay
Then it should appear in CarPlay on your Ranger's screen. I have to say that Apple Maps has been glitchy for me in CarPlay with the Ranger, but it worked well in my previous...
My XLT got its first software update over the air a couple weeks ago and that seems to have fixed two complaints I had.
1) about 20% of the time CarPlay would connect without sound. I'd have to disconnect and reconnect and then it would be fine. Since the update, this has not happened once.
2)...
FWIW, even the power seats in the XLT, which have multiple power adjustments including lumbar, are not very comfortable for me. There are several reasons they don't work for me:
-The seat bottom is too short front to back
-the side bolsters on the seat bottom are too high and kind of intrusive...

I see Ford ads a lot (especially during NFL games). Ford often features the F-series, which I get - best selling truck etc. I even the Maverick. sometimes. I never, ever see the Ranger. Why?
I think all the other car companies have ads for the mid-sized trucks, or at least feature their...
Interesting. Do they make them all to the same specs?
Other people I've mentioned this to (including a thread here) said it's just bad luck, but I want to complain.
Yeah, they looked at it for a while and agreed it was a stress crack. I actually saw the crack start. I was at a red light in Moab, just starting to turn right and suddenly it appeared right in front of my face from the left edge. No rock chip.
Of course, now I have two chips in my new...
This has happened to me a couple time, though I don't think it's gotten to the point of automatically breaking, just the loud warnings. I attributed it to the fact that my driveway slopes down slightly and then the road is flat or even slightly up. I assume the sensors read the approaching road...
