That’s what I was saying. I don’t know what percentage are already accounted for, but I highly highly doubt there’s any dealer that doesn’t have an order in. Because if they don’t have a customer lined up already, they certainly will in time. All those dealers with sky high ADM’s will lower them...
i think everyone is missing a very blatant point which is that we already know how many RRaptor orders there are. One per dealer, US and Canada. What percentage is dealer orders and what percentage is end customer orders is anyone’s guess but, it doesn’t really matter.
Ford has no reason to be...
Yes! In fact it’s required. If you talk to the FRaptor guys, they suggest rebuilding them every 40-50k. I believe Ford can do it but there are also third parties that can do it.
The Raptor cab is the same as the other trims. The mirrors attach to the same part of the cab on all trims so when they’re extended, it’s the same width. The only thing that’s wider is the track width and the fenders to cover the tires.
You know what, you’re right. I’m looking at the hardware kit for the Viofo and it does have power and accessory leads. It does do voltage sensing though as battery protection.
I think they’re able to to tell via voltage. With the alternator running it’ll sense ~14V and on the battery it’ll be around ~12.
I’m adding one that will be hardwired.
Spend enough time on /r/all and you’ll see it happen. Especially when that YouTube video came out about pedestrian safety. Or any video where a truck guy parks over the line. Nasty vicious comments.
We definitely like having you around but I think a shift to more constructive conversation would do us all some good. Theoretically in a month and a half we might start seeing some shipments and reviews and that should pick up everyone’s spirits!
For the past two months every post of yours is something negative about the Ranger. You’ve made point after point of how Ford made you angry, didn’t meet your expectations, etc. In every one of these threads you talk about how the competition is better, how Ford is losing your business. I’m not...
It’s not blue hairs. It’s Europeans, broke progressive Americans, and hipster millenials. I swear they don’t know what trucks are used for. If it doesn’t have an 8 foot bed suddenly it’s a soccer dad vehicle but never mind the concepts of payload weight, towing, and off roading. They think...
Reddit is an echo chamber. Most of Reddit thinks the only truck that should exist is a 1998 Ford Ranger regular cab and if you have anything else you have small genitals. Their opinion on trucks is irrelevant to the wider market.
I don’t have one yet, obviously, so I don’t know what the situation is on that port. My theory is that since ford obviously intends you to use that for a dash cam it stays powered but who knows.
