How about we all play nice and stop hijacking this thread for your own personal Barney Fife / Roscoe P. Coltrane fantasy.
I do appreciate those members who provided information on the various tunes that would support that function. This truck does serve as my daily driver, and it is still under...
Hey dude, I really appreciate the irony, when your post right above this one is, āPyroraptor 600+hp buildā¦not done yetā, and the next post down is titled, āRR broken/snapped axles possible fixā. :p
FYI - I know that the speed is limited because of the tires, which is why I said those have already been upgraded. The current speed is limited to 107 because of the tires. The new tires are rated to 118, which drives the quest for a speed limiter increase of 10 mph. I donāt want to change...
I have a 24 RR, with the FP tuner, COBB intercooler, and AFE intake. I love this truck; itās my daily and itās fairly quick. The only problem is that it charges like a cocaine bear, all the way to 107 mph (so Iāve been told), and then it hits the wall. Five minutes later, the Toyota TRD you...
I changed the transmission / transfer case / F&R differential fluid out with AMSOIL Signature fluids. I have a hard rule about having the dealership perform all of the services until the vehicle is out of warranty. I really drive my vehicle, so Iām going to stick with a 20K change interval.
Check out the posts from flaberdoopin. Heās been at the forefront of modifications and has a very detailed post on swapping out the factory sub. I liked it so much, that I did the exact same thing and couldnāt be happier. As a bonus, it didnāt cost me a fortune!
That analogy is like comparing apples to tacos. š
The Ranger Raptor is a performance vehicle that differs significantly from, in every aspect, form the base Ranger truck. A Maverick with the TREMOR package is a handling upgrade and some stickers; not even in the same ballpark.
Hey guys, as far as Iām concerned, you make the absolute best exhaust systems. I ran your exhaust for my 2019 Ranger, and I canāt count the number of times I was asked about it. I would love to have your exhaust for my Ranger Raptor. I have two main concerns that I see with any of the...
Iām running the COBB intercooler. I donāt think you get significantly better performance from an aftermarket intercooler, but it does allow you to avoid the heat soak of the factory unit, so the ECU doesnāt pull timing which results in a loss of power. The aftermarket intercoolers make a huge...
Yeah, Iām kinda jealous of the folks out west because they can get E85 at the pump. We used to be able to get 110 at the pump, but now the best I can find is 93, so thatās what I run. I have tried using an octane booster, and that REALLY livens things up, but I canāt justify the cost of...
I had the AWE Cat-back exhaust on my 2019 Lariat FX4 Sport; it gave me a slight increase in power and incredible sound for under $1k. All of the cat-back exhaust systems I have seen for my 2024 Ranger Raptor provide for basically a zero increase in performance, and because of the exhaust...
Iām incredibly happy with the COBB intercooler! Now the only time I see elevated IATās is sitting in traffic, and as soon as you start moving, those readings drop to within a couple degrees of ambient.
The install took about 30min. Iāll post some pictures I took during the install, and then...
I tend to live by the old adage, āDrive it like you stole it!ā. I am relentless when it comes to maintenance and maintaining my vehicles, but I expect them to go all out, all the time.
I purchased the COBB intercooler and couldnāt be happier. There were no modifications required, and the installation took me less than thirty minutes. I ended up with overall lower IAT, and much quicker recovery from heat soak at idle. I would definitely recommend the COBB intercooler.
Personally, I wouldnāt purchase anything else from Diode Dynamics. I purchased their trailer hitch brake light for the 2024 RR after seeing one of the members here demonstrating the installation process and singing its praises. Yes, the installation was simple, but connecting the Diode...
