Check out the posts from flaberdoopin. He’s been at the forefront of modifications and has a very detailed post on swapping out the factory sub. I liked it so much, that I did the exact same thing and couldn’t be happier. As a bonus, it didn’t cost me a fortune!Does anybody have information on the stock subwoofer speaker itself? Specifically looking for size and mounting depth. The only thing I know so far is that it’s a dual voice coil, and it’s small maybe a 6, 6 1/2, or 6 3/4… doesn’t look like an 8.
I’d like to try replacing the OEM speaker with a nicer one like I did on my Mustang Mach one. The mustang has a 10” sub with the b&o system that you can replace with a pioneer sub, it sounds amazing for The low cost you put in it.
