I installed the 3-panel from Leer, and you're right, there is absolutely no bragging rights on their chintzy instruction pamphlet it comes with. From a top shelf company like Leer, that's been around for decades, this is really unacceptable and I let them know (for what that's worth).
What...
Since summertime and hot out, is everyone sure it's not just where the vehicle is parked (asphalt), and truck reading higher due to this, or is it also after driving quite a ways and temp still not displaying properly?
For what it's worth, when I plugged 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor into Google for an AI scour of the net, listing this question, "are there critical failures in the popular 10-speed automatic transmissions found in 2024 Ford ranger raptor trucks", this is what popped up...
No, significant critical...
Be quite a bit of work, but "James Bond" the switch and put in an ejector seat. Gonna need a sun roof on that side as well, be awful messy without. Plus, prolly want a cover for the switch also, accidents happen! :)
You might take a look at the Leer HF350M as well (higher price than most, so depending on your budget). The quality is top notch and after several hours of internet research, this was my choice. due to several things they have that others don't (mostly). The release mechanism isn't just an...
Well, here's my (long) 2 cents worth... coming from a 2014 Tacoma TRD Pro, which fit, finish and paint was very good, truck never asked for anything (mechanically wise). Had less than 40,000 miles on it when sold... was just tired, wanted something new and more power than Toyota's V6 (that...
Well, we took a stab brother... but no bueno again. Screen stayed exactly the same (including module reboot). Also note, that coming from a 30 year background in computer repair/building and being a perfectionist in my work... I have no issues following directions to a "T". Gotta be something...
Yes, already did these things to start with, followed to the letter (all Eco enabled, selectable drive modes enabled, 760-04-05 xxxx-01xx-xxxx changed to 01, rebooted both modules)... was still no bueno.
Sure thing... here's my original pic showing the only 3 options available horizontally. If one of these is disabled (using FORScan), then a different mode shows up, but never Eco mode. Though I was able to get Slippery, Normal and Sport modes to show after last FORScan adjustment, but that is...
LOL, better than I, getting about 13 around town, mostly keeping my foot out of it. But, we bought them for the "coolness" effect and the HP, so when we tell it to go... it flippin' goes!
Maybe it's not an error man, go with it and see just how far you can travel on that ¼ tank of fuel.
(Like Kramer from Seinfeld, on the test drive episode... LOL)
Thanks man, LOL... waiting on the edge of my seat with baited anticipation.
Gotta be a way to change the Mustang to a Raptor as well... Come on Ford, get with the program here. :)
And you would think, that late in the year for both our builds, virtually all known wrinkles would be ironed out. Maybe it's just a USA thing, since available in other countries for the Raptor.
Theirs gotta be a way within FORScan settings, apparently just unknown to us as yet.
Ok, went back into FORScan and disabled every mode except Normal, Sport & Eco mode (since there were only 3 horizontal place holders on my center console screen). Made sure I did the module Write and module Reboot... still no Eco mode showed up on the center screen or when twisting the Drive...
Really, better millage after a few thou miles... nice, I only have about 1500 on my Raptor currently and 13 MPG in town, though I am a "red light" magnet... LOL. The wife says she's never seen anything like it. It's like the city it watching me drive down their streets on cameras, just waiting...
Yes, that's my current screen. I think it may have always looked like that, not sure I was in there previously (when brand new) to remember if so. Also haven't gotten back to it yet, to try disabling Tow/Haul, to see if another (Eco) icon would take its place (limited horizontal icon space as...
