i got every option to show up on xt trimmed 2024 ranger. the only issue it has is when i select that raptor only baja mode, it resets and starts me in normal mode. on my dash though, it shows up and i can select it.

i went back in and turned it off since it was just resetting my system, which i figure is because i don't have the exhaust or that special transfer case and the system is giving an error to the computer. all the others work fine though, and i am 2wd, which is funny, but they show up and work the rear axle locker like i suppose it does for the 4x4 guys

Try unchecking the Baja mode in the ABS setup screen if it's listed.

You can get some increase with miles on your truck by leaving it in normal mode and switch exhaust to quiet, steering at normal or comfort. Watched a video on a regular raptor do it and tried it out and it did work . Can also add that I have 20k miles on mine and noticed that after a few thousand miles I got way better mpg even in sport mode with Baja exhaust on.
Really, better millage after a few thou miles... nice, I only have about 1500 on my Raptor currently and 13 MPG in town, though I am a "red light" magnet... LOL. The wife says she's never seen anything like it. It's like the city it watching me drive down their streets on cameras, just waiting with a finger on a button. :( I'll try the "Quiet" exhaust trick, see if it improves at all. Any Idea why changing the exhaust note gains fuel millage?

I’m guessing it is not opened as much as the other setting so the gas is not getting used as much .. even Baja is not fully opened but a lot more than quite mode ..

Is this your current screen ? I picked my truck up from the dealership and the sync screen looked the same . Had to have a Ford tech on here send a fresh APIM as built file to fix since the dealership seems to be lacking master tech’s these days in my area and they are glorified lube techs messing with trucks that are more than their salaries.
Ok, went back into FORScan and disabled every mode except Normal, Sport & Eco mode (since there were only 3 horizontal place holders on my center console screen). Made sure I did the module Write and module Reboot... still no Eco mode showed up on the center screen or when twisting the Drive Modes selector.
And since my Raptor was built way late in 2024, you'd think it'd have the latest APIM installed already.
I am at a loss here, not that Eco mode is all that important (but why buy a Raptor in the first place, if you were after fuel economy... LOL), but it's the point! I don't like being beaten by computer systems (been a computer tech since 1995ish, it's a pride thing to outsmart all anomalies trying to inhibit a PCs Operating System from just functioning correctly). So I went back in and re-enabled all modes that I previously shut off, checked for DTCs and left as if for now, Eco mode still enabled but not present anywhere I could see. Wonder if there is anything else to try here?

Thanks...

I have had the same problem with our October 2024 build. No matter what I try, I can't get the ECO option.

Maybe it doesn't work because there isn't that mode in the PCM.

Hold on. I'll ask my super tech friend about this. The original Raptor had a different version of sync which allowed you to do this easily like you see in my photo. I never upgraded to the new one but I have a friend who did and he was still able to keep the eco mode. Sit tight and I'll find out how the tech got the ECO mode to work with the new sync update.

This is a screenshot from my friend's 2023 ranger raptor. His sync screen used to look like mine until it was updated to this style with the 3 modes. ECO mode is there as you can see. I know the guy who did the upgrade for him so I will ask him exactly what needs to be changed. I'm sure it's something small. Hang tight. Btw, this is from a RR not a Mustang as you see in the background. Not sure how to get a background of a Raptor.

And you would think, that late in the year for both our builds, virtually all known wrinkles would be ironed out. Maybe it's just a USA thing, since available in other countries for the Raptor.
Theirs gotta be a way within FORScan settings, apparently just unknown to us as yet.

Thanks man, LOL... waiting on the edge of my seat with baited anticipation.
Gotta be a way to change the Mustang to a Raptor as well... Come on Ford, get with the program here. :)

This is not normal that is a screw up either with the OTA for the APIM or messing with FORScan . You are not supposed to have a midrange machine E on your sync screen. This happened to my truck after I picked it up from having the adaptive driving not work and the steering icon disappear on the IPC . I did not leave the parking lot of the dealership went back in spoke to the advisor which was not not helpful at all and a smart ass little punk . The service manager tried to tell me that a OTA update happened while my truck was there for almost a month . This guy had no clue that I just ran forscan to see what DTC’s were still on my truck since it was not fixed . Also that i checked my last update and it was a month before . Caught the guy lying to my face . Again this is a screw up on the dealership side or possible wrong APIM OTA update . Had a guy from Texas on this page send a fresh as built file and fixed the screen . The ECO mode is not going to work with the Ranger Raptor .

Not correct bro. ECO mode absolutely does work 100% because I've tested it. There is a noticeable drop in throttle response and power not to mention better gas mileage. You will not see ECO appear on your dash and it's only accessible via the touch screen, not the dial. This is what shows up in Raptor Status. You can see the changes when I select ECO mode. I'm not in the states, either. Mine is an Asian model and we've been using the eco mode since 2022 when the RR was first released.

Can you do me a favor and post a screenshot of what yours is displaying now not showing eco mode as you mentioned? I have an appointment with the dude Saturday (Friday for you guys) to have my keypad on the steering wheel updated on my RR and I'll ask him how to get the eco mode to show up on the new update. Off topic, Btw, I think previous models before 2025 don't have this option on there steering wheel. No idea why Ford didn't include this from the beginning. Does your RR have these icons and ability to answer and disconnect calls from the steering wheel?

Sure thing... here's my original pic showing the only 3 options available horizontally. If one of these is disabled (using FORScan), then a different mode shows up, but never Eco mode. Though I was able to get Slippery, Normal and Sport modes to show after last FORScan adjustment, but that is the only change from the pic shown.
