I had the 2.3L in my 2021 Ranger Lariat. I have just over 5kmi on the 2.7L and I’ll take the 2,7L over the 2.3L all day long, even with the 4mpg hit in gas mileage. As others have mentioned, very smooth, very spirited, a pure pleasure to drive.
