LED tailgate light bar installed (harness wiring diagram attached)

I know a bunch of people have wanted to do this on their rangers but with out a plug and play option out there it’s difficult. If you use the 4 wire plug at the hitch the truck freaks out and thinks a trailer is attached, gives faults for trailer tail lights not working and disables the blind spot/ cross traffic system.

I was able to get my hands on the wiring diagrams from a friend that works at a shop so I could hard wire into the tail lamp harness. If you plan on doing this modification you will find if you pull the tail lamps the harness to them is no help. All the wiring to the lamps is black wires. You need to get under the rear and out each outside of the hitch you will find a harness the you can follow up to the tail lamps I tapped in to this harness

No, the access hole to lover the spare is next to the license plate.

it’s an Opt7 triple row with amber turn signals. Yes the turn signal wires are ran to each tail light harness and hard wired in.

No, the access hole to lover the spare is next to the license plate.

It will interfere with the access in a Raptor, the larger tire required it to be relocated.

Do you think this set could be the same on a 2025 Ranger Raptor?
I can not find one that will work.

Did you tap the reverse wire too? Since it wasn't highlighted in the diagram I didn't think you used it.

I am installing reverse lights on my bumper and was planning to just tap that wire (don't need park or turn), and trying to understand the wiring better.

Yes I did tap into the reverse light wire for the bar. Sorry I didn’t high light that wire on the diagram.
