Good Evening,

After three weeks of telling myself to just go ahead and do it, I finally have decided I am going into my Ford Dealer tomorrow and ordering a Ranger Raptor. I ask, what am in for pertaining to a wait? If the order goes in tomorrow, 6/9, any guesses as to when it will be here? Is Labor Day out of the question? Thanks!

Worst case scenario, order never gets pulled you get rolled to a 2026. You come here complaining, your relationship suffers, you start eating more donuts, then you do the unfathomable and buy a Tacoma.

As I sat here reading your reply, I am laughing like a school kid, the donut topic and Tacoma topics were priceless. Thanks, needed that on the dreaded Sunday night blues celebration. I have a pretty complicated trade that the dealer is going to help me out with, which will result in a sales tax break, etc. I am ordering a black one, so there are a few within a 100 miles of me, but the dealer is also giving me a break off MSRP if I order it.

Make sure the dealer actually has a Raptor allocation; make them show it to you. If they don’t have an allocation, they are going to have to trade with another dealer for it. I waited 4mths last year (order placed on Mother’s Day, 3wks of that was transport to Alaska); I don’t know what the current manufacturing schedule looks like. Follow this channel for weekly build updates.

I think they have already started scheduling for August.

If I was looking for delivery while the weather is still relatively nice out... I'd would probably seriously consider purchasing one already on a lot somewhere.

I HAD ORDERED A 2024 RR WITH THE ADD ON’S. THE DEALER HAD THE ALLOTMENT AND I GOT CONFIRMATION THAT FORD ACCEPTED THE ORDER - IT NEVER GOT BUILT………WE THEN ORDERED A 2025 STILL NOT PLACED IN PRODUCTION AND I STILL GET CONFIRMATION THEY ARE WORKING ON SCHEDULING FOR PRODUCTION! ITS BEEN 5 MONTHS, SO I HAD THE DEALER FIND ME A 2024 WHICH DIDN’T HAVE THE GRAPHICS OR SPRAY IN BED LINER OR MUD FLAP - HAD THEM ADDED AFTER MARKET. SO DON’T BELIEVE THE TIME THEY GIVE YOU ………..GOOD LUCK

Black and carbonized grey are a pretty easy color to come by at least in Texas compared to other colors. I used the website above to help myself find one in Marsh Gray.. that site has somethings other dealerships can’t even see. Some dealerships can only work with other dealerships to trade too. They will tell you anything to get your business.

Search around. When I bought my FX4 in November, I asked the dealer about Raptors. He said that his allotment for '24 and '25 had already been spoken for.

I wanted to order a 24 RR in early 24, but when I checked with my local dealer they told me their allocation had already been used. My dealer called me in December and asked if I was still interested because they had an available allocation. I ordered my 25 RR on 12/20/2024. The only options I went with were mud flaps and spray in bedliner. I took ownership of my 25 RR on 5/20/2025. There were a few different factory shutdowns during that time. I hope that helps.

Call around find dealers with allocation. Find one that will take your order without a down payment. Then take the fact that you have an order placed without a down pay to two other dealers and place two more orders without a down payment. Then see which dealer actually had an allocation by whichever one gets you a build date first, then cancel the other orders.
