The author seems clueless about the already confirmed Ranger Raptor but the rear step deletion from the US spec Ranger is news to me.
Makes sense this is an older pic. I was going to mention that this truck looks like a 5G. grille, headlight config, bumper, taillights and the bodylines on the doors scream 5G to me.
I noticed there is no rear step in the bed of this truck. My understanding is all Rangers except the Raptor will have the step. Holding out hope they just put a 6G Ranger together out of prototype parts to check for things like drivability, road noise or some other metrics where final...
Pretty Sweet video.
I'm just going to say it. with the current colors coming out on a lot of vehicles these days, Ford should make a color to match the modeling clay they use in their design and just call it Modeling Clay Brown. I'd buy it.:crackup::crackup:
You do not need to remove the wheel. I turn the wheel all the way to the right, remove the small cover inside the fender well (10 or 11 body clips), reach in to pull out the oil filter. Ther is a drip tray to catch the oil (the oil filter is mounted horizontally) that follows the frame rail...
Just for fun I went to the Ford AUS site and built a ranger raptor. The only options were color (anything but white was AUS $675), 17" bead lock capable wheel upgrade (AUS $2000) and raptor decal package (AUS $500).
I guess it makes sense there are not a lot of options since the raptor is...
Been waiting for you to show up on 6G Zach.
Still a little far out but I'll probably be in touch if the 6G raptors will be offered at your great prices.
I think someone on the 5G forums bought the parts but there might not be mounts underneath the plastic in the US spec Rangers. There might be an airbag in that pillar as well. Not too sure.
They are in Australia. I'm pretty sure they will come to the US. Most likely limited stock like the current gen. The local lots in my neck of the woods had about 10 super crews to every one super cab in 2019. Finding one spec'd out to my liking became so difficult I settled on a super crew...
here is a story that might shed light and calm some nerves.

i have friends in AUS and NZ and found when talking about prices of products, the conversion rate wasn't very accurate.
I like the idea of driver and passenger grab handles too. that's something many trucks seem to miss out on in the US. Also curious to see if the interior roof and pillars get the black treatment. another rare thing in the States, even though i believe the current ROW rangers can come with black...
This looks like an auto show in Thailand.
I'm not sure how I feel about the driver and passenger cup holders.
looks a little tacky to me but kudos for making use of unused space I guess.
I believe the interior is time stamped so one could skip ahead if you wanted.
I saw an article last week or so saying the 6G rangers were available in Thailand and will be available in the Philippines in the later half of 2022.
No mention of AUS, US, CA.

The front bumper looks like its made of steel contrary to the earlier non raptor truck pictures.
looks to be missing front tow points but could easily replace those black covers in the skid plate.
I also noticed the rear steps behind the rear wheels are gone. I was kind of looking forward to...

I'm not sure but exhaust after the axle might be a law in the US. I can't think of a passenger car that drops in front of the rear axle since the late 70's. but I could be wrong. I remember seeing one of these Dodges when I was a kid.
I have seen aftermarket exhausts come out before the rear...
