This looks like an auto show in Thailand.
I'm not sure how I feel about the driver and passenger cup holders.
looks a little tacky to me but kudos for making use of unused space I guess.
I believe the interior is time stamped so one could skip ahead if you wanted.

I think the extra hidden cup holders are great. Waaaayyyyyy better than having them in the lower door panel like the current gen.
Good video. I'm sure there are others, but this is the first I've seen that shows everything.

Ford did a great job on the sheet metal of this Raptor. Not at all like the Bronco version. :puke:
What I am disappointed in is that there is no memory function for the seats/mirrors. Major pain in the ass when you have 2 drivers using the vehicle. And my wife is not going to like the lack of a light on the visor mirror.
Overall, the interior is a huge step up..........just not quite on par with every other sector unfortunately.

Good video and thanks for posting it. I'm not sure what we'll get here in the states but overall I like most of the stuff I see. I do agree with you I find those cup holders kind of "cheesey" and not sure how long they'd last before breaking. I kind of like the ones we have now in the door pocket as it's out of the way. It would be nice to make them a little larger (maybe round them out some) to fit a tumbler. Love the rear vents as they're actually usable unlike most that are stuffed under the front seats, it's also nice that there's power in the bed.

I wonder if our version will have both front grab handles? I'm hoping they at least incorporate something like the ones on the Bronco where they're built into the sides of the dash. The only thing I don't care for is the touch screen. Personally I like the horizontal ones and a 12" screen like the Bronco would look much better. These look like they stuffed an iPad on the dash and called it a day but I know that's the new look most have now.

I like the idea of driver and passenger grab handles too. that's something many trucks seem to miss out on in the US. Also curious to see if the interior roof and pillars get the black treatment. another rare thing in the States, even though i believe the current ROW rangers can come with black interiors.

Well, that's 2 against 1 now. :) I've never found much use for the cup holders in the door. I'd use the dash ones.

Couldn't agree more. At least Ford is integrating them into the dash. Not sure why the glued on Ipad look is so popular with designers these days. Hopefully that fad runs its course fairly quickly.

I wish the rear seats were split 60/40!!!
I agree. Looks as if it's the same seat design as the current gen.

I Like the cupholders in the dash, much more useful for cups than the door pocket ones. A few other vehicles in this segment have had similar features over the last few years, including the Hilux and the D-Max.

It should be noted on some of the minor details that this vehicle is a pre-production prototype, the final fitout may be different, and will vary from market to market.

Maybe they will modify the rear seat design to add the 60/40 split before it goes into production for the North American market. I really like the rear seat layout on my '18 F-150 and it would be great if they could replicate that design. Having the split seat cushions fold up against the back of the cab exposing a flat floor is the best design IMO. Sometimes you need to be able to carry one passenger in the back and still have the max storage space on the other side.

I do too, but that could be a prototype thing. Either way, I'll likely end up removing the seats for a platform system if Goose Gear decides to make one.

Pop out cup holders look like 1970 era ideas. How many cups do folks drive around with anyways 😂?

My first thought as well. It seems silly for a ~$60k vehicle to skimp on a little LED.

As for the cupholders? I can't decide if they're cool or tacky. For us the ones in the door are usually just somewhere to put our empty cans for the rest of the drive anyway.

I had an in-dash cup holder like that in the dash of my 2003 Saab 9-3 and it was broken within the first 2 years of ownership. Although the one in the Ranger looks much more stout than the chintzy one in my old car. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/eV5LHXbOGN8/hqdefault.jpg

It’s too small for any cup or water bottle I carry but it seems like it would be nice to hold my wife’s sunglasses or my wallet while I’m in the drive through.

Didn’t watch the video
Cup holder at left of driver is fantastic. I am right handed and it’s much comfier to crab a coffee from there with left hand while operating the truck with right one. At winter the truck blows hot air to the cup and with summer heat AC cools it.
