This setup makes alot of sense to me. You can still put a roof top tent on it without altering the trucks height too much. I think I could make something so I can I can mount my paddle boards just above the roof. will see if I can put my hitch T Bar on the new Ranger. Then nothing touches the roof. My ? is with the OutPost towers do you have to stick with the 3 tonneau cover options. I think 2 of them are powered. Can you put on a Velcro tonneau cover on. The powered covers are a $2500 + option. Also I would still like to be able to put a motorcycle in the box. The powered tonneau box is in the way where the tire would go.

Answering my own ? here. It looks like you could use the BAK Revolver Cover with Yakima Outpost Racks.

You have to also buy the tonneau kit. Yakima is well designed but pricey.

Hmm, strange this got posted on the 6G site. I did not put it on here. Ok remember these types of racks can only support 200lbs.
