I have a 25 XLT FX4 2.7 and never even heard the turbos everyone claims they can hear. its fast, but I hear zero difference in noise other than revs.

Or you order a ranger with the 2.7 that has all the capability and runs as fast and hard as the Raptor, been there, done that!

so posts here and other places state bumping to premium gets you to 330 stock HP, so gain of 15HP for the cost of gas, with no mods on the 2.7. Seems the easiest way to go since most tunes don't get you much more and you are usually forced to use premium?
