Struggling to find something pretty simple - my Tacoma had these rails that mounted on the front and sides of the bed (up top) that were just a super simple rail with a T slot that allowed me to mount accessories around the bed. Most importantly, I used the front rail for bike mount points and...
Ignorance is bliss, couldn’t be more true here…this doesn’t even justify a proper response…I just hope others rely on their own personal research and form their own opinion based on what they have read here and in other threads and don’t take the above as fact. I don’t have time, nor the...
I’m
That’s not what the language of their message and the PDF says exactly - it’s legally gray, right where they want it to be. You cannot say this with 100% certainty, at least for now.
I’m not trying to pull a “lawyer” card on you…but I’m a lawyer in NY and have reviewed countless...
Wonder if clear or black silicone is a good option to secure - don’t like super glue, and agree trim tape may be hard to set perfectly. Silicone can create a good hold and remove without too much hassle down the road. Only issue is drying time, would need to use painters tape or something to...
My concern remains the impact on the extended warranty I purchased from Ford - that is still a very gray area and not getting straight answers from Ford on that. So, I’m just gonna cancel my extended warranty and tune it haha! But don’t think anyone here can state with certainty how this will...
Yeah that’s just not good - if you’re gonna add the sensors, they have to work well…plain and simple….my 2016 Toyota worked better than this…I’ve given Ford a pass on many issues here because of the overall package, but this one is just silly…
That’s exactly what I’m talking about - something is wrong with the software or the sensors themselves. I’m always safe and check blind spots and everything, but something like that should just not happen without a warning.
If you don’t have sensors, fine and that’s on you. If you have the...
Awesome - the warning labels drive me nuts and take away from the interior so much. I usually swap my visors for EU versions that don’t have the warnings but the stickers are way more cost effective!
Anyone else notice that their parking sensors are super slow to respond to objects?
I’m picking up on a pretty noticeable delay, leading me to lose faith in their ability to prevent impact when navigating tight spaces. My other cars pick up on objects and their distance to the vehicle rather...
I get it - Ford dumped all the R&D / spend into the driveline, powertrain, suspension…and other things for sacrificed. Something has to give, impossible to make the perfect truck at the perfect price…but it would be nice to offer a few upgrade options in areas like seats where folks can go base...
Had BOVs / Diverters on my cars when I was younger, my 06 STi and MKIV GTIs...at the time, it was fun because I was a 20 something who wanted the cars to be as obnoxious as possible...and it was also at a time when turbos were way more rare and exotic then they are now, so it had more "standout"...
My Taco bed lights turned on when I unlocked the doors and opened tailgate - haven’t noticed on this truck yet that it wouldn’t happen…bummer, hopefully a way to make that happen as it would be nice to have something more automatic for easy night loading…
That’s a massive upgrade in appearance - looks awesome, thanks for sharing!
Ford should have just integrated these tips better into the bumper, like they have done for other dual rear facing tips…but this is a good and reasonably priced solution. Thank you!
Not trying to be snarky here, just wondering legit what is the purpose of these? Are you putting dirty / muddy things on the dash and this protects it? Is this to prevent a dash from cracking due to sun exposure 20 years down the line?
I come from the Tacoma community and no one did these so...
Ford also says the hood “heat extractors” are functional…don’t see it! Spoilers like this are designed for rear end downforce on sports cars, which to me would be massively outweighed on a truck by the actual air resistance against the tailgate itself, unless you had a tonneau cover on to...
Thanks for sharing - this may be a happy middle ground for me as well. Do you have any pics further back of the rear and side for reference? That would be helpful. Also, what did this run you, assuming you do removal on your own? Adding 2-400 range? Thanks again!
For what it’s worth, my drivers seat looks better today after 400 miles than it did on day 1…seemingly breaking in and looking less “loose” despite my original assumption that it would get worse and not better with time…TBD on final outcome just worth noting.
And to the point above on Bison vs...
Another thread posted in the “issues” section on this. Loose fitting seat covers or not enough fill, along with pretty horrid stitching lines…not enough to tarnish my view of the truck to be honest, and hopefully something Ford will in time acknowledge and remedy, but TBD since seemingly...
Love them on my 350R, which had even more offensive chrome lugs from the factory…Ford needs to get the hint and respond to the aftermarket here, it’s not that hard (or expensive!).
