It knows when you’re grabbing the handle, but that’s different as there is a physical input with the vehicle which then triggers the sensor to look for key. That may not be the same sensor type as one that knows if you’re coming / going automatically…
I would imagine this would require some key proximity sensor that’s likely not in the car if it doesn’t do this in its factory configuration. Given the convenience of it, I’d imagine if the car had the capability, it would do it from the factory. I don’t know for certain, but that’s my gut.
Thanks and a nice option…but the future flex for a bed rack on the one I’m eyeing is a huge plus for me…seemingly one of the only roll up covers offering that flex / checking all my boxes. But all good recommendations above thank you guys!
Im generally with you, but I deviated for the Raptor…feel like it’s one car I don’t mind being a little radical!
Which tint spray did you use? Used VHT in past and liked it…but it’s been a decade since I did it last.
Wow…looks sleek de-badged as well! I got the decal kit on mine as I felt like if I was gonna drive a raptor, own it and go all out hah! But was wondering what it would look like more minimalist like this…looks nice!!!
I’m slightly confused on this topic - don’t mean this in a snarky way, legitimately inquiring….why order this truck when there are so few options and just about every configuration available at MSRP somewhere in the country?
I get ordering cars with endless options like a Porsche where you can...
Feel like most cars have smoked / black / clear / paint matched options...I'll never mess with my tail lights, but this one impacts look a lot and prob safety very little...all my cars are color matched given it's in paint, but this one being in the raw plastic part, would prefer smoked / black...
100 miles on mine, got it yesterday, and noticed the same thing - loose fitting seat covers, wrinkly...almost as if they don't have enough "cushion" to properly fill out the cover / sleeve. Hopefully an issue Ford will warranty, but I fear replacements at this point will look the exact same...
Just ordered Cravenspeed as I like the look of that one a slight bit better, but that BuiltRight one looks nice too.
Now I just need the side markers and this thread will be a success story haha
Looks great, and actually think that's essentially a rebranded version of the one I'm looking at...or at least same company making them "white label" for FORD...not certain though. Thank you!
Hey guys - one thing I immediately noticed in my RR is pretty poor shift quality in manual mode. It's inconsistent, and doesn't happen in automatic mode. I only have 100 miles on the car so may be associated with break-in, but my last few trucks we're stick shift so just checking on whether...
Hey guys - two things I immediately want to change on my RR are the front orange side markers (want smoked or black) and antenna (want smaller / stubby antenna for overhead clearance in parking garage). What are the aftermarket options you guys are using for these simple parts?
I don't mind...
Moist microfiber for light cleaning. Heavier duty cleaning, I use Sonax Alcantara Cleaner on my sports cars so will likely use on this. I just don't think this is real alcantara, seemingly synthetic, but I'll still use that as it's gentle and works great on my 350R steering wheel / seats!
Thank you for feedback - would say security is mid-tier priority...it's less about what I keep in there, and more about the "ease of opportunity" of someone trying to find out. I had a jeep soft top that someone cut a hole in at the train station - nothing stolen from the car, just looking...
Hey guys - have owned many trucks, but never a tonneau cover. I never had use for it as I used the bed of the truck for bulky, work-related / off road / outdoor items, nothing I needed to protect. I also always had bed racks for my off road goodies and toys (bikes, etc.). Now I have two kids...
