I’m sure in the next year there will be plenty of easy solutions - this is a quick and easy fix, we just need the aftermarket to rev up. At days end, it’s such an incredible and compelling package for the money that I’m not getting hung up on little things like this!
Watched the videos and it was cringeworthy in my humble opinion - so clearly “acting” when the fault code first came up, and the fact that the product was in stock and ready to go in such a short period of time is just so suspect. I appreciate them supplying RR parts, but “manufacturing” issues...
Getting used to it for sure, but that doesn’t mean I wanna keep it…def feels a little gimmicky for my usual taste…but I get they wanted to make it feel special, just a slight bit too much and flirting with tacky for me.
The Braptor got a much more refined and mature feeling interior…accents...
Agreed on seat indents - I put the weather tech down since it’s rubber and creates grip so the car seat doesn’t slip around, that’s the biggest issue when putting covers beneath it. As you can see in my pics, I have a seat cover behind and in front as well to protect from sear back indents and...
This is exactly why I did a 5 year ceramic coat, and not my normal 9 year haha. There is a LOT of room in that engine bay relatively speaking, almost like it’s already been engineered for a V8 down the line. Why tuck that washer bottle in the well like that?! I imagine they do it, and I’d...
Haven't had any issues yet...after all this drama over lack of rear vents, I'm gonna run an experiment later and put a thermometer back there...see what the differential actually is...I get lack of "air movement" alone can make that feel worse, but a cabin this small, I'm surprised so many...
Two NO issues here...I just have rubber pads beneath the seats to protect the "leather", a protector on the rear seat itself to prevent scoring from the car seat, and then a cover on the back of the front seats to prevent damage from their repeated kicks...crazy? Maybe...but I'll appreciate the...
Annoying thing about this is I don't want to repaint anything unless absolutely needed (accident)...so the remedy for me is essentially going to be a bottle of touch up paint...bummer!
The fact that the factory system is fully welded to me is a good thing - it’s a sign they actually didn’t want to cut costs in this department. Inconvenient for “modding”, sure, but that shouldn’t be an OEMs primary goal!
I plan to go black at some point, but told myself I need to live with...
I’m generally a fan of a clean, simple look…I usually de-badge all of my cars actually…but I feel the decal just goes so well with a truck like this. I love mine, wouldn’t want a Raptor without it to be honest…it’s just such a “Raptor thing” that I feel like this is one vehicle it really belongs...
Will take some - it’s very dim as I really sprayed it on thick for a deeper black color but can still see a faint amber light. If you do a lighter coating, would let much more light through, it just be more of a “smoked orange” look vs “straight black”.
I don’t listen to the radio, CarPlay...
Love the bed rack - had a setup like that on my Taco and didn't know there were already options for the RR...nice! Good luck, looking incredible thus far.
Don’t take it personally man, more power to you (literally)! Most guys are on here thus far are looking to make some moderate tweaks to make their trucks more capable machines while also maintaining factory warranties…and that’s where my input came from. Had I known you were building a...
To avoid the airbag issue, they could have adopted a handle that’s integrated into the dash like the bronco raptor, love that.
As much as I’m all for having more standard in the truck, I also think we need to remember Ford priced this thing incredibly competitively and offered a pretty amazing...
I think mine are incredibly comfy, should poor fit and finish on the fill / stitching. Seeming nothing holding the covers tight either, just loosely fitted almost like an aftermarket seat cover. Hopefully this is addressed in time by Ford, not gonna age well…
