Do you need something as large as an F-truck?
In Australia (and probably elsewhere) Ford have released the Ranger Super Duty so no doubt they will also release it in North America including the US.

Ok, it has been almost 2 years since I started this thread, so I am now wondering if anyone has tried getting a service manual for our models from the Motorcraft website ( https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Purchase/ViewProduct).
I'm specifically after good wiring diagrams at this stage - ones...
Be careful what you wish for...
I have the Australian configuration (aux 5 and 6 activated by auto high-beam) and it is a disaster!
The auto high beam is calibrated for the power and throw of the standard headlights which are significantly less powerful than the sort of lights you are likely...
I can't see how you would plumb twin-scroll turbos on the twin-turbo 3.0L... So I'm betting the 3.0L does not use twin-scroll turbos.
Don't know about the 2.7L - is that a twin turbo or single? If it's a single then sure, twin-scroll otherwise same logic applies.
Ahh, the other point missed on the narrow vs wide comparison is that for a given tyre pressure, a narrower tyre bags out more than a wide tyre. This means that with wider tyres you need to run lower pressures to get the same amount of "bag" as narrower tyres. Low pressures are the number one...
@Antman450 ,
In my research I do remember seeing someone with an F150 (I think) with the upfitter switches show how he was able to move a fuse in the relay/fuse box to convert some of the switches to be always active.
Maybe do some searching for that on YouTube. There is a chance that the...
I agree that configurability of the aux switches would be a great thing. I have searched through lots of non-AsBuilt stuff but can't find anything that gives me the ability to change their function. It looks to me like the auxiliary power on this car is very old school just done with wiring...
If you got them from G.O.A.T Offroad in Australia then I doubt you will have any issue. I believe they are pretty thorough with their stuff....
If you didn't then it's anybody's guess.
@nedmo Do your spacer thickness to lift ratios hold true for both the front and rear or the Ranger Raptor?
"We made our own perch collars, made our own strut spacers in varying thicknesses from 1in lift all the way up to 3in lift. 3in lift was too much for the CVs and ball joints, so we only...
There used to be an alternate ABS module sheet in the workbook - I think it was for the F150 though. Not sure if the codes described in that would make more sense for you. It does seem particularly odd!
OK, then we can try decoding your string to see if it makes sense and go from there... Unfortunately the spreadsheet only has information for the first 6 digits but comparing yours to mine this is what I get:
CN
mAtTyG04
Before TTA
760-03-01 F27C 764F
760-03-01 9B42 C14C FF54
Set 1...
That is rather odd! My ABS 760-03-01 only has 8 hex digits but yours has the full 12. Also, your Forscan image shows that you don't have the "Write" button next to the 760-03-01 item - I'm pretty sure mine did.
Is it possible that your car is newer (mine has a late 2022 build date) or uses a...
I must say that this would definitely be a great thing to have. I find when parallel parking in a dark street at night the cameras are basically useless.
The functionality that would make sense to me would be for the wing mirror lights to come on whenever the headlights are on and the cameras...
I have the auto-lock working (automatically locks once you hit ~10km/hr) if that is what you are referring to.
This was the first ForScan modification I made and it was before the Ranger spreadsheet so I probably used the F150 spreadsheet.
As it was my first mod, I didn't really know what I...
Australian RR here and I've never seen the mode pop-up.
Though to be honest, I find the modes generally pretty stupid. Sometimes Sport can be a bit of fun if I'm being lazy but I find using the flappy paddles in manual mode to be the best option.
In fact I now use manual mode exclusively...
Trail Turn Assist
Just swinging back to the enabling of Trail Turn Assist (TTA). I can now confirm that the instruction in the spreadsheet work for an Australian Raptor. And I must say it is devastatingly effective.
@craigc, next time you are in the spreadsheet can you update it as being...
... But maybe they should ...
I think I'll look into these body mounted options as over here frame mounted are the only option. I'm not 100% convinced so let the research begin.
