I agree, the matrix LED's are great however they don't play particularly nicely with auxiliary driving lights...
They flick to high-beam too early and flick back to low too late to be useful in conjunction with driving lights and other than the physical driving light enable switch once enabled...
Been working on it (see messages peppered throughout this thread). Others seem to have had success but no luck for me yet. I think it might be sorted now but I won't know until I do a final test in the dirt. Once I have done that and confirmed success then I will provide a comprehensive...
Trail Turn Assist
Just revisiting the Trail Turn Assist functionality in light of the updated module data pages in the spreadsheet - thanks for the heads up @Waffel
If the new ABS 760 (Ranger Specific) worksheet is correct for the Ranger Raptor then the change to be made in the as-built ABS...
I'm hoping forscan is the answer to this "problem" so I'm interested to hear your thoughts...
When I lower my tyre pressures to say 18psi for off-roading, I get the TPMS warning pop-up in the centre display telling me my pressures are low - ok fair call!
I can reset this warning and am meant...
This would make sense considering my experience above.
It would be nice if we could get the same coding information in the spreadsheet from the Bronco range of vehicles rather than the F150 range as the Ranger and Bronco are on the same platform so are probably a much closer match than the F150.
I was out camping and fishing over the weekend so I got a chance to try out the settings for Trail Turn Assist for the Raptor...
Unfortunately it was only "sort of" successful using the codes in the spreadsheet. I changed my ABS module parameter 760-03-01 from F27C 764F to F27D 764F following...
At the rear, I used to trim tool to push the clips as much as possible and I also got them from underneath - lying in the bed.
The clips at the front were the hardest. I got the rail off there by just grabbing the rail and rocking it left to right while pulling up. Eventually the clips squish...
I've updated to V63 now - thanks for that hint.
I can see your explanation along with the ABS - Raptor 760 tab make perfect sense but the numbers are very different to Sequoia's so that totally confounds the situation. I think it might be due to Sequoia having a Wildtrack not a Raptor. Though...
Actually, maybe you can take a look at the non-as built ABS module and work out what changing the as-built setting does in there.
This is my non-as built:
OK, well done. I wasn't sure of what you get when you subscribe to their stuff so now I know it is good info I'll look into it.
Mind you the NA Ranger Raptor is probably going to be pretty close to the ROW one electrically - at least for the sort of things we are likely to do with it.
Sorry off-topic question.
Hootbro, where can I get the wiring diagrams that you have? Are they part of the Ford service subscription as I've been thinking about looking at this but I don't really know what we get for our money.
Ranger Raptor only has one button on the stick and that is for manual mode only. Instead of the other two buttons on the stick we have flappy paddles for gear changes.
OK, we have sorted out the US ordering on our website so you can now put in your address to get the shipping quote and you can choose your payment option including PayPal.
I gave it a try and it came back with US$14 for shipping which I reckon is pretty dammed good. In fact that is only...
Yes, that is how we do the payment for US sales but we end up sending you an invoice via PayPal. That is not my side of things... I deal with the product development while my business partner does the website/sales stuff so I don't really know what is involved in setting that up.
Actually we do ship to the US but we haven't got our web shop set up properly to make it an option (it needs to remove the local tax and quote the correct shipping - we're working on getting it fixed). We have shipped a few kits to the US and Canada so there are a couple running about.
If...
Apologies that this is not a helpful post - more a selfish one unfortunately...
Two things that I'd like to crack with FORScan:
Trail turn assist on the Ranger Raptor
I have attempted to enable this using settings I found looking at F150 FORScan information and by poking about in FORScan...
The main reason we developed our kit here in Aus is to keep out the dust. I'm very interested to see how the Keko kit holds up and how effective it is longer term so if the OP could post an update after six months or so that would be great.
We designed our seal kit for the rigours of the...
