I have 20k kms on my RR (call that 12.5k miles) and my consumption over that period averages out to 14.8lt/100km or 15.9 mpg. That includes some pretty slow four wheeling which really hurts the average.
Around town driving sees about 16.5lt/100km (14.26 mpg) but open roads / freeway travelling...
The more I look at the pictures, the more I like it. Do you have any indication on when it will be available to the market?
What we need next is a much better long range fuel tank solution... (160lt minimum ;)).
So around 45kg including winch mount - that is great!
Will I be able to purchase this locally in Australia or do I need to import it?
If local purchase, will the bar be ADR approved in Aus?
I have the matrix headlights enabled from factory (Australia). Is there anything I can do to help you guys get yours working - like share a configuration file or something?
This gives you some idea of what you are dealing with (zoom in to see they types of clips).
For some of the clips you can use a plastic trim tool to help push the clip inward while pulling up on the plastic trim. For the ones at the front of the bed, you can't get a trim tool into. The best...
Nope, but plenty of people on the local FakeBook groups have tried various simple solutions and none of them are happy with the results. The problems they talk about with the stick-on seals is that they simply fall off.
If only it was this ^ easy! Try out everything you can because it would be great if someone could come up with a simpler solution.
Unfortunately the above options have been tried in Aus and none of them have proved to be satisfactory - that is why we developed what we did.
If anyone does find...
Hi John, The kits are now out there in the wild, our only problem is keeping up with demand (we are sold out again). At this rate it will be another couple of week before we are stocked up again so I'll look into an individual thread when that happens.
In the mean time, you can have a look at...
I'm still stuck on the earlier UI so I can't be sure for the 2024 (the updated UI is an over the air update that I am yet to receive - but it is coming).
In terms of what the manual says:
OP, the "Intelligent Speed Limiter" switch that you show in your first post simply disables the speed sign recognition function of the speed limiter - it does not disable the limiter itself.
The speed limiter is a great feature once you get used to it and are more familiar with the steering...
Yep they are a Ford part however I had the dealer install them so I didn't have to order them specifically and hence don't know the part number.
However, I do believe that the Ranger Raptor uses a different part number than the regular Ranger.
It was not particularly expensive to have the...
No shortage of options out there. You just have to be prepared to look globally.
Here are a selection after about 1 second of searching - there are many many more.

This is the 5G Ranger not the 6G so we are talking about a different car here.
None the less, the need for the J-brace on the 6G is pretty disgraceful. I had the J-brace installed within about 3 weeks of taking delivery of mine - just in case.
