  1. Newbie White raptor

Snap! Car looks great in white with the sticker pack. You'll find this forum far more informative and manageable than all those FakeBook groups which are just absolute garbage. Weekend in the Victorian High Country with mates:
  2. 2.5 Diesel Transmission

Sorry to hear that John. Unfortunately this is a forum for the Next-Gen Ranger (2022 onwards) that no longer use the 2.5lt Diesel and also use the 10 speed auto. I'm not sure you are going to have much luck chasing the information you need here. All the best with your mission.
  3. rough ride on smooth roads particularly from the rear, tyres out of round?

I can't help you other than to say that there was a guy on one of the Australian FakeBook groups who had an issue with a manufacturing fault that meant that his car was on a permanent tilt. I think it might have been a faulty shock... That could also be your problem. You could try to buddy it...
  4. White Ranger Raptor - Journal

Snap! I also have white with the sticker pack. Love it. I love your wheels. Perfect size and offset. In Aus all the CUB's are putting low offset (+20, +0 etc.) wheels on which are not only beyond what is legal (+30 is the legal limit) but they stick out past the fenders making things even...
  5. Fuel Guage incorrect display

Vey odd that the calibration has been lost. It could be a mechanical issue (problem with the fuel sender unit) or it could be software related - if so you could try taking a look at ForScan which is a program for interacting with your Ford via the OBD2 port. People are fitting long range tanks...
  6. A few of my thoughts/issues with my new Raptor

@Stitsch1618 - soft reset = brilliant! Thanks for that. I have my "Raptor" mode set to 2H, Sport transmission, Sport steering and shocks and Baja exhaust. When I want to quickly give it "the beans" just a quick double press of the "R" button and I'm ready to go. When I'm finished, I just turn...
  7. Dual battery secondary inverter

Yep. Roof top tents are popular for the north end. Sleeping in a swag or tent on the ground at the beach up there has proven to be "challenging" for some unlucky campers.
  8. 2024 Ranger Workshop Manual

Well, that's not really correct as I have had my Raptor for around 6 months now and 6G Rangers have been in customer hands now for around 18 months. Thanks @goalieThreeOne. I do have the auxiliary switch pack but it is overkill for wiring a UHF and dashcam in the cabin. The neatest solution...
  9. 2024 Ranger Workshop Manual

Inspired by the earlier thread of almost the same name... Does anyone have any leads as to where I can get detailed workshop information on the Ranger? What I'm really keen on (right now) is a detailed wiring diagram and diagram of cable runs throughout the car. And no! I don't mean the "body...
  10. Dual battery secondary inverter

Lots and lots of options available in Aus. I won't post links as there are so many - just do a google search like "next gen ranger lithium battery site:au" and you will see plenty of examples. It's just my opinion (which I realise you weren't asking for) but personally I see very little point...
  11. Dear Aussies, does the Ranger Raptor feel large to drive?

Excellent! This is my first ute of any kind so I was very concerned about its size but now that I have it, all my fears have been averted.
  12. Dear Aussies, does the Ranger Raptor feel large to drive?

Sorry for taking so long to reply to your request... I think Australia probably has roads and parking spaces more comparable to the US than Europe does but that being said I think the US roads and parking spaces are overall bigger than in Aus. where the "full-size" trucks like the F150, Ram and...
  13. MPG numbers yet?

Nice - thankyou. As another data point, my TT RR can just barely touch 9.8 l/100km (24mpg) if driven very gently at 100kph (62 mph) completely unladen. Around town with only short trips mostly (barely gets time to warm up) I'm usually seeing 15 - 16 l/100km (call that 15 - 16 mpg).
  14. Spacers & ECU Flash for 2023 Ranger Raptor

The standard wheels are 8.5"x17" with a +55mm offset (note: this is from memory - the 17" and +55mm offset are correct but I must admit I am struggling to be 100% confident in the 8.5" part). I believe there is a Bronco wheel (Sasquatch pack) that is +30 which would be an ideal match for the RR.
  15. Ranger Raptor owner review

Absolutely spot on! If I could do that without also disabling the matrix functionality then I'd be sorted.
  16. Ranger Raptor owner review

Yep. Over here you can (and need to) use your driving lights on regular country roads so you are flicking them on and off in the same way as you would with high beam. I bet it is possible to arrange things as I want using Forscan - if you knew what you were doing and had the information you...
  17. Ranger Raptor owner review

OK, getting back to you after a weekend of light off-roading. I can confirm that on the Aus spec. Raptor, the AUX 5 & 6 circuits are activated when the headlights automatically switch to full high beam. However they do not activate when the matrix function is doing its thing (behind other...
  18. What features are on the world model but missing from the US model?

You have all missed the most obvious thing missing from the US spec... The steering wheel location
  19. Ranger Raptor owner review

Cool! I should be able to confirm that on an Aus spec vehicle after the weekend
  20. Ranger Raptor owner review

Good thinking and thanks for your thoughts - I'm still trying to work this out myself so please bare with me while I work through a few thoughts that you have brought to mind. As I mentioned, I don't have driving lights set up on the RR yet so I can't be 100% on this until I do. However I...
