  1. 2024 Ranger Raptor 3.0 V6

This is a great forum indeed - far better than stupid FakeBook which is just a mess of messages with very little structure. Enjoy and gook luck with your order.
  2. Ranger Raptor owner review

Just for clarity, this guy is in New Zealand so they have their own country specific rules. However, Australia does get the "matrix" lighting feature as does NZ. I haven't added lights to my RR yet so I cannot test it but I was a bit shocked in this review to learn that the adaptive function...
  3. 2023 ranger raptor adaptive light issue

I have experienced the same issues as you with adaptive lighting errors. When I took it back to the dealer, they were unable to detect anything (surprise surprise) and didn't attempt to apply any update or fix. Hopefully Ford come up with a fix for it as it is pretty pathetic that their...
  4. What wheel offset to run on 2024+ Ranger Raptor?

Standard Raptor wheels are +55(mm). Anything +25mm and less will give you "poke" and most likely issues if you want to fit say 12.5x35" tyres. I find it interesting that "poke" doesn't appear to be an issue in the US. In Aus. the most you can legally increase your track width by is 50mm which...
  5. Auto start/stop removal

My Raptor has the auto stop/start disable button and you know what... I never use it! I just let it stop when it wants to and it is not a problem at all. Unless you are seriously afraid that it is going to have catastrophic implications to longevity of your engine/starter/battery then I just...
  6. Next Gen Ranger Raptor Diff Issues??

I can't believe how few here have not picked up on this message! The diff developed a problem due to the low oil level, which should have been picked up by the dealer during pre-delivery inspection and during the 3000km inspection. Both of the checks are on the check list and Paul showed them...
  7. Next Gen Ranger Raptor Diff Issues??

I wouldn't be too sympathetic to Paul's financial plight - his car review business is either the biggest or close to the biggest in Australia. He is doing very well for himself. Though he does deserve praise for telling things as they are. I'd rate him as one of my favourite car reviewers.
  8. 2024 Ranger Raptor Height - does it include antenna?

I have a 2023 Ranger Raptor and when I enter carparks with a 2.0 meter height bar the aerial just knocks it - 2.0 meter = 78.8 in. approximately. If I enter a carpark with a 2.1 meter height bar I get no contact. 2.1 meter = 82.7 in. So I'd say the height with standard wheels, tyres and...
  9. Raptor Towing Capacity

It is not so much the use of coil vs leaf springs. Coils are perfectly capably of carrying and towing heavy loads, it is just that the Raptor is set up with soft rear springs to give it the handling they wanted. Plenty of coil sprung utes have the full 3,500kg towing capacity and 1,000kg payload.
  10. Australian Accessories

I'm sure you will be able to get all those accessories directly from Ford - and no doubt many many more. NA customers always seem to get access to much more factory backed stuff than we do in OZ. Regarding the tank, there is currently a Brown Davis steel option for the "gas" model (Ranger...
  11. Pre-tapped roof holes under factory gutters.

The early part of this video should give you the information you are looking for: Search on YouTube for: "Rhino-Rack | Ford Ranger P703 Backbone and Pioneer Installation" (for some reason I can't link it here directly).
  12. 3.0TT V6 Ecoboost Tune for 2024+ Ranger Raptor

I'd keep my eyes glued to the Bronco Raptor and what people do with that as it will be directly applicable to the Ranger Raptor.
  13. Australian Version accessories on US Spec 6G (Raptor included)?

I hate to reply when I cannot speak authoritatively so take this with a grain of salt but I would be VERY surprised if all of those things did not fit ALL Rangers regardless of origin of manufacture / market destiny.
  14. Maintain the enthusiasm... delivered Ranger Raptor content for motivation

Yep, I'll some photos for you to help you decide. If you can get your hands on a 5G Ranger to test it for size then you'll be on the right track as they are all but identical in size to the 6G. This is my first ute so I'm still learning what's what. This week we had myself and my 16yr old...
  15. The Ford 2.3L progression.

Too true. The new Amarok (Ranger in disguise) will be available with the 2.3 EcoBoost in most countries. Australia doesn't get the 2.3 in any flavour of Ranger which is a pity as I'm sure it would be very popular.
  16. Official ARCTIC WHITE Ranger Raptor Thread

Indeed! ha ha. Just shy of 400hp worth.
  17. Maintain the enthusiasm... delivered Ranger Raptor content for motivation

No Problems. I'm off for a 4WD training course in the Victorian High Country this weekend so hope to get some photo's for you in its natural habitat.
  18. Maintain the enthusiasm... delivered Ranger Raptor content for motivation

Close-up of the left headlight at night with the steering turned to the left which activates the small turning light you can see in the lower left of the cluster. This is on low-beam, high-beam being the upper light that is unlit. The lights are matrix LED which are able to dim segments so...
  19. Maintain the enthusiasm... delivered Ranger Raptor content for motivation

This is the view from the reverse and surround camera at night. Foot is on brake hence the red tinge. There appears to be a surprising amount of light from the reversing lights though I'm pretty sure I will add extra rear lighting.
  20. Maintain the enthusiasm... delivered Ranger Raptor content for motivation

At the time I ordered there were only two items on the options list; beadlock capable wheels and the decal pack... I ticked both  . To be honest, I don't think I am a fan of the roller shutters as they lock up too much bed versatility. At this stage I'm leaning toward a soft tonneau and...
