  1. 1/4" gap around the whole tailgate of Ranger Raptor

In Aus, when you order it with the factory roll-top it also comes with a matching drop-in liner that places surfaces perfectly for adding matching seals. Unfortunately the spray-in and standard liner don't provide adequate surfaces to seal against.
  2. 1/4" gap around the whole tailgate of Ranger Raptor

Yep, they are designed to work with a spray-in liner or no liner at all. They could work with a drop-in but you'd need to cut it away for them to fit. I picked up the base plates today so I will start building the kits tomorrow and will take some picks for you to see what they look like.
  3. Disabled auto start / stop with eliminator kit (4DTECH) and it works

There is a switch in the settings menu that allows you to turn that off. The hill hold function continues to work properly with it switched off.
  4. 1/4" gap around the whole tailgate of Ranger Raptor

This is a huge problem in Australia where a large proportion of 6G Rangers are used in very dusty conditions. The dust gets absolutely everywhere and straight through those gaps you point out. Thankfully I have just completed the development of a kit to fix both the bottom of the tailgate and...
  5. Tonneau cover availability

Yep, this is the one for me. I have tracked down a local supplier (as Real Truck won't post outside the US!) so I hope to have one in-coming next month.
  6. Tonneau cover availability

I'm at early production phase with these. I've got 50 bracket sets coming from my local metal fab shop this week which means that I should have the kits made up and available to go out next week. This 50 is going to go very quickly however as everyone in Aus is screaming out for them. I'll...
  7. Tonneau cover availability

Looks great, thanks for the pictures. I think this is the one for me - now I just need to work out how to get one to Aus! Looks like the tailgate seal kit I've developed will work perfectly with this cover so that is a win!
  8. Tonneau cover availability

Can you post up some more pics? Maybe some of the internal installation and also the end of the cover near the tailgate. We have developed a bolt-in seal kit for the 2024 Ranger so apart from being interested in the X4s for myself, I'm keen to see how it will interface with our seal kit.
  9. Average Gas Mileage of 25.7 mpg

Being an Australian entry, that would have been for either the 2.0 I4 diesel or the 3.0 V6 diesel engine. At US25.7mpg that equates to about 9.1 lt/100km so I'd guess it is the 2.0 diesel. There is absolutely no way it would be the Raptor and we don't get any other petrol engines. My Raptor...
  10. Ranger Raptor Ground Clearance vs The Competition

Nice bit of information - thanks for posting. ROW Ranger Raptors are quoted at 850mm fording depth which is in line with the 33.5" in the above data. The air intake is at the top of the grill facing forward so I wouldn't be going for the bow-wave method of water crossing otherwise you'll drown...
  11. aluminum body

I'd like to know what your source is for that information as the ramifications could be profound for ROW owners who are looking to save some weight or who are hitting their GVM. Honestly, I'd be VERY surprised if there is any difference between ROW and NA panel materials but anything is...
  12. aluminum body

It's not impossible but I'd VERY surprised if there is any difference.
  13. aluminum body

The hood, tailgate and fenders on my Raptor are all steel not aluminium - either that or they have now invented magnetic aluminium...
  14. Seems I really like my Ranger Raptor

There are quite a few options for "bull-bars" available in Australia that are designed to take a winch and lights. In reality, most are just bumper replacements and mounting lights and a winch are about the only things they are good for. I am yet to find any that I like enough to actually pay...
  15. 2024 Ranger Workshop Manual

OK, so I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like the service manual is available online at Motorcraft: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Purchase/ViewProduct It's expensive for an annual subscription but for 48 hours it is almost reasonable assuming you can save a few diagrams.
  16. Raptor Exclusives?

Eventually you will be able to add trail turn assist to any of the Rangers... I can see some of the parameters to enable it for the Raptor when I inspect the configuration using Forscan but it will no doubt take someone a bit of messing around to get the configuration to work.
  17. Raptor Exclusives?

Yes, you are quite correct, every other Ranger has a 3,500kg tow capacity while RR is 2,500kg. Payload and GVM are also down accordingly - I think my RR has around 700kg payload once GVM and kerb weight are considered. If you favour load carrying capacity over off-road capability then I would...
  18. Raptor Exclusives?

The RR has completely different suspension components front and rear. Rear is coil sprung with multi-links vs leaf springs for every other model Front has longer control arms and hence greater wheel travel Overall the track is in the order of 100mm wider than any other Ranger even though the...
  19. 23 Raptor Brake upgrade

You will need to do some YouTube searching but I did see something about 6 months ago where someone did a brake upgrade on their next-gen RR - sorry not a very useful response I know. Love your profile pic.
