On my 2025 Ranger Lariat they only way I can get it to pop up is to push the manual shift button on gear shift. I also have had other Fords that would show it all the time but not this truck. Every time I shift into drive I push the +/- button and it pops up on dash.

I have a K&N filter in mine but Fram I believe is coming out with a Fabreeze one.

Don't know if this will help but I have a bionic nose. Can't stand the smell of diesel exhaust and dope's smoking dope while driving. I always buy a top notch cabin filter right when I get a new vehicle and install it. It definitely makes a big difference to my nose.

I have the Rove dual. I tapped into the mirror for power so it only works when the ignition is on. I did have to send my first 2 units back they kept shutting off and rebooting. Besides that it's a great camera and the service department was easy to work with.

I used it for my dashcam with a USB. Yes that's the right connector

That sucks. Just guessing with all the battery problems Ford has had it's probably the battery. One cell not working properly can cause all kinds of issues. There is a load test the dealer could do before your trip. I know one guy on here had a similar issue.

Scheduled mine for Friday at the dealership. They have the best popcorn and massage chairs. The scenery is usually pretty nice also,lol.
