  1. Driver data privacy

I don't see why that would be needed. When I connected a new phone, it took less than 30 seconds to update all contacts in SYNC over Blue Tooth.
  2. 2024 FORD RANGER EXTENDED WARRANTY - ARE YOU BUYING ONE?

That statement says they will cover MacPherson struts, but not coil over shocks. And it's in the part of What is Covered for front suspension:
  3. 2024 FORD RANGER EXTENDED WARRANTY - ARE YOU BUYING ONE?

It gets confusing when reading thru the ESP. Section 7 lists what is not covered. 7z says:
  4. Driver data privacy

Good details on what has changed in SYNC4. Seem odd that Ford asks for the contact names only, not phone or e-mail addresses. I guess they can cross reference names to the hundreds of data bases out there to get the rest of the info.
  5. 2024 FORD RANGER EXTENDED WARRANTY - ARE YOU BUYING ONE?

Are shocks are covered for the entirety of the ESP?
  6. Corrected FORD’s design flaw today

That looks a lot better. For the life of me I still can't understand who made the decision to make everything else Magnetic gray but make that part silver.
  7. One of my tires going to grenade.

    Yeah, like this:
  8. First 2024 Ranger with 2.7L engine delivered!

Well, as of now it's not a $2195 upgrade, but more like a $5680 upgrade if you don't want 4x4, 'cause it's only available with 4x4.
  9. Seat belt warning wont go away.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Another one brought to you from the nanny state.
  10. Wondering if I made a mistake buying a new Ford.

Yes, I understand that. And if it's like on the 5G forum, after 3 or 4 reported failures on 6G there will be some people here that thinks all 6G trans will fail before 100k.
  11. Low volume issue?

Have you not seen 'Spinal Tap"? The numbers are arbitrary. Just because your system goes to 30, another going to 40 doesn't mean it's louder.
  12. Low volume issue?

This sounds suspiciously like 'it goes up to 11'. Anything more you'll probably need a better amp and speakers.
  13. New Guy Done Lurking!

Welcome, and warm up that wallet and CC.
  14. Wondering if I made a mistake buying a new Ford.

That applies to all vehicle forums, even Ranger 5G where there are people there that adamantly believe that the 5G transmission will fail on all 5G Rangers before 100K, despite there being 10s of millions of F150, Mustang, Explorers and Rangers with the 10R80. Are there problems with the 10R80...
  15. Driver data privacy

When I leave work for lunch, my phone stays at work, that's when I get the message about location and data services active, etc. At that time, I can't make or receive calls, cause no phone. But when I do have my phone, I can make/receive calls and text paired thru Blue Tooth, but I don't have...
  16. Why no trailer brake controller?

You can still tow 7,500 lbs. without a TBC, just get a trailer with surge brakes. And in some cases, in order to tow that much, you will need a weight distribution hitch, or should Ford provide those also in the standard package?
  17. Why no trailer brake controller?

As others said, it was an option available at time of purchase. I expect that in the next few months they will have a system available for self-install. On 5G, it was about a year after introduction that a solution for a TBC was devised.
  18. Driver data privacy

Things must be different in SYNC4. On SYNC3, I do not need Android Auto to make or receive calls and text. Just need a Blue Tooth connection to the phone.
  19. Driver data privacy

One way to find out if SYNC keeps those contact photos is to leave your phone behind and see if the photos still show up in contacts. As for my 5G SYNC3, I've never seen photos on contacts in the display.
  20. Why no trailer brake controller?

If a mom was moving and rented a trailer to do so, she wouldn't need a TBC as most rentals have surge brakes.
