He’s running the BAP wheels that are already hub centric. no need for a spacer to center the wheels on the hub. But his spacers are 1.5” thick. Thus my question.

Were the wheel spacers necessary to correct wheel rub, or was it to widen the stance? I’m looking at going with 275/70/18’s and a 2” lift myself. BTW, I like the look of the amp powerstep when retracted.

You’re tight about Bilstein themself not showing anything for the 6G rangers, but companies that cary their products are listing them. Here’s one example, but there are others out there...

The thing that gets me is both Eibach and Fox list different part numbers for their 5 gen and 6 gen rangers (non rapter) shock/strut/coil over. King and Bilstein list the same shock/strut/coil over for both the 5G and 6G rangers. So which is it? Are both gens using the same shock or not?

Well, didn’t really “haul” but my cane corso/lab cross Rocky likes to go for rides in the back seat, with the window down. She sticks her head out the window to check out the scenery. She gets a lot of attention when going through town.

I looked on crutchfield’s site, and they do not recommend replacing the head unit in our rangers. Most likely due to the vast integration of vehicle controls into the head unit. To me, it looks like getting this unit would be your cell signal availability...

That is one way, but the downside is if you lose cell signal. You lose access to your sirius music. I would talk to the ppl at cruthchfield. You can get a sirius antenae for around 70 bucks. They can walk you through the install and setup.

The B number is still relevant after a lift, as this is the value that will determining if you are blinding oncoming traffic or not. I’ve found that you can often run the headlights a tad higher than what is recommended, but if you are getting oncoming traffic flashing their brights at you...

There are several sellers and brands on amazon if you want the paint in a spray can. It’s helpful to search by paint code rather than color name often times.

Yep. Just one strut on the tailgate. It seems to slow the lowering of the tailgate just fine with only one.
