2.3 vs 2.7 Test Drive - Has anyone seen a 2.7 yet?

I can't find an answer in any sales specs, but is this latest 2.3 version still direct injection only?

I was hoping for the dual injected 2.3 they are now using in the Mustang but after researching it they are just carrying over the same 2.3 from 2024.

I really want the 2.7 also. I am just really concerned about the cam phaser issue that was still happening in 2024. The 2.3's dont have them.

After driving the 2.7 I'am sold on the Ranger with that motor. The 2.7 is just so much smoother than the 2.3 and so much better at driving. The difference made me say WOW so I ordered a Ruby Red l Lariat loaded with the black package.

I just bought my 2.7L Lariat last week and am pleased as punch with it. As I am a Ford and Lincoln sales consultant, I have driven a bunch of 2.3L, and was poised to buy an Azure grey Lariat 2.3 that was coming in for stock. Same day, we got an Agate Black 2.7L, I hadn’t even considered because of the colour. I decided to take it out for a rip, after it came off of the car carrier. A block in, I was sold. No regrets at all!
