I have a 2023 Ford Ranger 2.0 Single Turbo Wildtrak. I recently installed a Nakamichi NBF-10.3 powered under-seat subwoofer using an 8 AWG power wire connected to one of the accessory studs on the positive battery terminal with a 20A fuse near the battery.
Initially, I was using the subwoofer's high-level auto turn-on, but I've since changed it to a dedicated ACC remote turn-on wire, so it now powers on and off with the ignition.
The issue started after the installation. About 2 hours after parking, I came back to the truck and it was completely dead. The key fob wouldn't unlock the doors, there were no dash lights, and no electrical power at all. I opened the hood, pressed down on the plastic positive battery terminal cover, and somehow the truck came back to life.
Since then, I've been getting a "Check Charging System" / battery warning. The warning comes on while driving, then clears by itself after a while, but it keeps coming back intermittently.
I checked the battery voltage:
I've checked my wiring and nothing appears loose, and switching the subwoofer to a remote turn-on hasn't stopped the warning.
Has anyone experienced this on a 2023 Ranger? Could this be related to the battery terminal/accessory stud, Ford's battery monitoring system, or is there something else I should be checking?

I checked the battery voltage:
- Engine idling: around 12.98–13.14 V
- Immediately after shutting the engine off: 12.57 V
