Thanks for adding me to group Bought new Ranger XLT 4 days ago and remote start works somtimes and 10 min later will not work again couple hours worked once? its hit or miss. Any ideas truck has 120 miles on it, Thank you in advance

Mine often blinks red but still starts the truck, which is very confusing because then I have to do a visual check outside to confirm it was started or not. It is supposed to blink green when it successfully starts, but I rarely see green.

That's a personal message to them. Not like they can do anything over the computer, they just going to check it. Not like taking to dealer and have a real person look at it.

It took me awhile to figure it out on mine. Even if the truck is locked, hit the lock button before pressing the remote start twice.

It's not clearly stated in the manual. If I recall correctly, the manual just says the truck has to be locked prior to using the remote start. But pressing the lock button even when it's already locked seems to do the trick.

The farthest I've tested the range is across a grocery store parking lot maybe 15-20 rows across.
