I just don't have the capability to take 2 or so weeks off of work to drive across the country and back + putting 5500 miles on a new car is iffy for me.I say find a way to get the time to drive out for the one you really want and make an epic trip of it while breaking in the camper otw back.
While I want a hiatus, I won't be spending hiatus money. I'm between an Oru Bruin and a Topo Badlander. Topo has been impressing everyone lately with their quality, options, fit & finish.
One thing I've not been able to find with any of these is what visibility remains or looks like in the cab out the rear window and sides (some have windows all the way through). Can't find a single picture out there.
Xtrusion is the best wild card here. I love their idea but need to see what their actual tent design will be. I hear rumors that it’ll be the end of the month.I been looking into these for longest time and it Seems GFC already makes them for the 2024 Ranger since 74Weld has it on their Ranger already. I am looking into Bynd4x4 or Xtrusion Overland to make one for my Ranger. Campers seems to be the way to go. I done ground tents, soft RTT, tonneau cover, 3 different bed racks... I hate them all. lol. I like These two companies it looks like you can mount anything on them.

Thats what I'm wondering also. Best way to see the announcement is probably by following them on IG and @The_Dark_yota. I wonder if it comes pre-built and you have to assemble it yourself like I had to with my Xtrusion bed rack.Xtrusion is the best wild card here. I think it’s supposed to be flat packed and assemble yourself. Maybe not the tent portion but everything else.Thats what I'm wondering also.
