Agree. Retrax brand looks almost identical to the retractable OEM one that was on my 5g.The tonneau cover I had on my 5G I actually bought from Ford and it was Ford branded. I would be very surprised if there weren't a few different ones selling by the time the Rangers were in people's hands.
If the 5G's are compatible. I will be bringing my Pace Edwards (now Leer) Ultragroove electric over if i can snag a Ranger Raptor. I like it because it also has slots in the rails for bed racks. The roll ups do take up precious bed space. that would be my only concern. What about an electric one. Anyone have a line on one that would fit the raptor?
Which do you think is better the roll up or the tri-fold?Have the same one on my truck. 4 years in and love it.
Looks like a nice product. Appears they don't ship to the US unfortunately.Going with these guys when my Ranger comes in. Half the price of the major brands.

I’ve tried both. I like the tri-fold because you get the whole bed, but it blocks the back window.Which do you think is better the roll up or the tri-fold?
I have a Retrax roller that came with my current truck. I despise it but it works well enough that I can't justify spending $1,000 on a different one. It's constantly binding up and the box at the front of the bed takes up so much space. Starting fresh with the Ranger I'll definitely be getting a trifold.I’ve tried both. The roll-up leaves the back window unobscured and gives you partial coverage wherever you roll it to, but you do lose like 4-6 inches of the bed when hauling things taller than the bedsides. For example when I load dirt bikes, the tires touch the cover instead of the back of the bed.
I’m pretty torn on what I’ll put on the RR. I’ve been hauling a lot of stuff lately, so I’m inclined to go with the tri-fold (currently have the rolling one), but.
Yeah, I would never even consider one of those ones that rolls into a box because that’s really intrusive in the bed. The rolling Bakflip at least rolls up and sits on top of the bed.I have a Retrax roller that came with my current truck. I wish this was for NA! Thankfully we have no shortage of cover choices. On mine there is an Original Electric roll cover including a Sports-bar - that can be operated from the front and the back of the bed. It was a Option to select.

No worries, you can be confident that a 5th generation tonneau cover can be transferred to the 6th generation. This picture, albeit of lower quality, was taken from a video I recorded prior to selling my 6g Ranger Raptor. My Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover (P/N 448333) fit flawlessly, leaving no gaps and appearing tailor-made for my truck. In my experience, 5G covers fit perfectly on the 6G Ranger bed,

Great truck, but it just wasn't my thing; I'm keeping my 5th gen Ranger Raptor. It suits my needs much better as a daily driver and weekend off-road machine. I'm glad I didn't end up selling it.Why did you sell it?
