2024 Ranger XLT FX4 4X4 front hub noise

At 10k. I've got a wierd sound (squek, almost sounds like a chirping bird) coming from the drivers side wheel. This is the 2nd time I've had problems with the front wheel hub. At 3k Ford (under warranty) replaced defective left front hub.
Anyone having similar problems?

Your sound is the same sound mine was making prior to the dealership replacing the front hub.

Just got my truck back from the Ford dealership. I was able to point out the noise to the shop forman during a test drive. Turned out to be a bad front driveline and retainers. They replaced under warranty and got the trick back in 1 day. All is good again.

Interesting point. I did not know that. The noise would only come after driving the truck 20 plus miles at freeway speeds. Seemed that what ever was causing the noise need to be heated up. Haven't heard anything yet.

The front drive shaft should not spin in 2 wheel drive I don't see that making noises

Most 4wd the front drive shaft spins it just the front isn't locked in to make it 4wd. If it wasn't like this there would be a big jerk as you engage 4wd as the driveshaft has to get up to speed and engage the 4wd system.

Remember the old systems you had to give that lever a really hard jerk in order to engage 4wd.
