I was seriously considering one but when they said I couldn't order it the way I wanted it and if they maybe(big maybe) ever got one in with everything I wanted and color it could be a few years so I ordered a Lariat FX4 with everything I wanted.

Those wheels are awful, and the tires are ridiculous on a vehicle called “off-road”…

I'm not a fan of the styling, but I'm sure plenty of people will be.

“Composite Skid Plate”

Bro, just say plastic. It’s a plastic skid plate.
I put an OEM-Euro composite skid plate on my 2015 Golf TDI (aluminum oil pan! close to the ground!) and that thing was stupid strong. I'd wager even stronger than the aftermarket steel and aluminum pans offered for the Golf. Composites can be pretty stout.

Composites can be strong but they can be brittle too. When a composite fails it shatters. Compare that to a metal skid plates which will bend but stay intact. Composites have their place but skid plates are not one of them in my opinion.

It'll be interesting to see how they hold up. Either way, I bet there are a whole lot of aftermarket companies who can't wait to mock up some steel replacements.

Looks too much like a toy and not a truck.
