Thid doesnt really qualify as a RT. Just 1st time its been on expressway much. The truck has 3k mi. Recent oil change.
Observations on 250 mi mostly expressway. The truck rides very good and is comfortable .Plenty of pep.
If the road has bad
bumps , the ride and road noise are more noticable,as expected.
I had one temporary concern coming up a long hill running about 75.
There was a loud roaring noise for about 200 ft on a hill? Sounded like a big truck or maybe a rear end roaring loudly. The truck was unaffected, the pavement looked good. The only thing I coukd attribute it to was road noise.,maybe a change in pavevent? Ij never did it again. No warninf dash lights were onon, it drive fine, guages normal,,etc.
At 75 on a extended tun, i noticed oil temp was at almost 3/4.(never in the red)It normally runs around 1ins around 1/2 running errands at home. I assume thus is nor.ally.
Im running stock tires n wherls at 35 psai.
My overall lifetime jumped from
20.1 to 20.3. Ill know more detail next fill up. Hoping it will improve more esp on the road. 20 mpg is good running errands.
My 1st oil change ,I did synthetic blend, maybe full synthetic next time .
