We'll see. Phoenix is a weird market. Most of the dealerships here in the valley have up to a $15K dealer markup on these and folks are paying it to get one. Then add 8% sales tax on that. That's pure profit for the dealer and pure loss for the buyer. Even the 24's with 20K miles on them are selling for way over sticker. Someone could see all those upgrades as a win over dealer mark up.

Interesting build on your truck. Very nice. Just wondering, with $14K in upgrades why did you for go the ProCal that would increase HP by 10%. It’s $800 compared to the $74,000 you have invested. Assuming you didn't pay $10K over sticker plus sales tax. I hope you get your price.

A ProCal tune was on the list after catted downpipes. The thing about the ProCal tune is that it's adaptive and it learns as you drive. I've had the truck for 5 months and I'm still on the same tank of gas that the dealer provided. Obviously this is not my daily driver. As far as price I bought the truck From Montrose Ford in Ohio and had it shipped here. With a Military discount I paid a hair under sticker.

Bump up for a sweet truck. I wanted to say I appreciated watching your videos as they developed and I think you mentioned having like 63 miles on it on a recent video!

1st. If your getting a military discount I’m assuming your a vet. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVCE. MUCH APPRECIATED. I still missed the ProCal on you list. No big deal. While I show myself from Montana, I send most of my time in Scottsdale. Yes I talked with many dealers in the Phoenix valley. Couldn’t believe how much over sticker they wanted. I bought my RR this summer up in Montana for a hair under sticker. You have a nice well done truck and I hope you get what you asking.

Cheers and have a great night.

Actually to clear it up I haven't done the ProCal tune yet. I wanted to add the catted downpipes from SPD Performance first. It might still happen. I also put my Tacoma up for sale. I don't care which sells first. I will let the world decide for me. I have another project coming and I need the garage space.

Oof man. It's a beautiful build, but I fear you may have difficulty selling it for what you want. Modified and tuned vehicles are hard to sell as is, but with 115 miles most people would rather just buy a new stock truck. Prospective buyers may haggle you hard too since they may think you're trying to flip the thing.

With the intercooler and intake upgrades, has there been any noticeable difference in performance. I understand at 115 miles it is likely not too obvious, especially if you did it from the get go. When I get mine, I plan to do intercooler, piping, cold air intake if worth it.. then later exhaust and the ProCal tune.

The intercooler itself will make a huge noticeable difference. The colder the air goes in, the more HP comes out. The air piping and cold air intake will give you minimal results but they look cool. With everything combined it's hard to keep the tires from chirping when I leave the light but being fair it takes 400 to 500 miles to burn in the KO3 tires. I gave my Explorer ST the same treatment with the Whipple intercooler and the performance gains were very impressive. I just sold my Tacoma so it looks like I will be keeping this one. So the next mod will be SPD catted downpipes and a ProCal tune. I would rather have a custom tune with Dyno results but I can't find anyone in the Phoenix area that I trust to do this. I haven't decided on an exhaust yet. Most of the current options that integrate the factory valving sound too raspy. Then again most exhaust systems will only build max HP at around 5000 rpm and nobody really drives in that range on a regular basis.

I'd been planning on the Rival recovery hooks but wasn't sure how they'd play out with the ADD bumper.

Good thing I checked your thread out. I too had the same complaints about the ADD bumper and their lazy (and stupid) engineering solutions for part of it.

I'll be addressing more of those as time allows, but cold weather season is approaching and I own a condo with a shared garage and it's not fully enclosed.

I did address the the biggest nag of mine, the skidplate attachment, but went a different route with floating nut-plates and counter-sunk rivets. If those end up failing for some reason, I'll just go the route you did, since it was my other option but I didn't have the tools for it at this time.

Funny thing, though, I watched your YT stuff and you had the same complaints as I did bout the bumper.
I proceeded to email ADD about the skidplate attachment hardware and then ranted about how lazy and dumb some of their engineering choices were on it in the process.

I expected them to ignore me but they replied back and said this was one of the very few customer feedback they're received on it and it wasn't boot-licking praise. They want more feedback like mine on stuff, but no one is doing it, sadly.

Nice looking truck, btw, and sorry for the partial hi-jack.

I sent my part 1 bumper video to ADD but didn't get any response. With nut plates I'm wondering if you spent any time in the Air Force. I replaced hundreds of those when I was at Edwards.

Were you able to hear the turbo a little better? I have test driven a few and it seems the exhaust hides the sweet sound of the turbos spooling up. On the other end, when I test drove the ZR-2 Bison, the turbo was nice and obvious....but the truck just didn't wow me like the Raptor did.

Especially when just about every dealership will not touch warranty work on it at this point. I know technically they cant but good luck stopping them from denying
