Took delivery of a 2025 Ranger Raptor in Carbonized grey three weeks ago. Have added Wescott epower steps, full bedbug, shorty antenna and MX4 bakflip so far. This is my first truck (after wanting a truck for a LONG time). I have not owned a Ford since about 1990. Over the years, I have owned Acura, Audi, BMW, GM, Honda, Lexus, Mercedes (2X) and Volkswagen. So not too brand loyal.

This truck is the most fun vehicle I have owned since I was young with a Honda Prelude (first new car). No car is perfect, but this is a lot of fun. Helps that I hunt, fish and camp, so this fits in with those pursuits pretty well.

The highs - excellent ride quality and responsive drive train. The suspension keeps the truck glued to the road and absorbs the road flaws, while delivering a low road noise. Allows me to enjoy hearing the engine. Seats are comfortable and easy for me to find a comfortable driving position. Truck definitely has a presence for a midsize truck. I have had more people want to talk about it than all my past cars combined. The cameras are well positioned and easily accessed for view. Probably use them almost every time I drive for something. Steering wheel is absolutely perfectly designed, very comfortable, padded in the right spot and excellent diameter. Feels like you have total control of the truck.

The "if I was CEO, here is what I would change." Color availability. Come on Ford, you can do better. Should have vented seats. The toe box for accelerator and brake needs to be expanded a bit. Often catch my toe when moving from gas to brake, which creates a plastic "twang" that is both annoying and cheap sounding. Glove box door feels very flimsy. Wish center console came forward a bit more to provide an arm rest while driving. The OEM running board is awkward. Too long and wide of a stretch to step over, but when I step on it, then have to duck down to get in truck. Thought the shifter would end up as a problem, but after a day of use, its close enough to be intuitive and not a problem.

All in, I love the truck and look forward to many years with it.

OMG, this happens to me too. A bit annoying. Definitely not big foot friendly at all, I'm size 12. It's my only nit on the interior so far other than the view obstructing rear head rests. Congrats on the new truck!

It’s a great truck and that’s coming from a loaded 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2, which I never had any issue with…but I had a thirst for HP

LIKES

performance….its exceptional

endless features

Stereo….great for a factory

DISLIKES

No ventilated seats ….I live it Texas. It’s hot here

sports bar and lights option, which my ZR2 had and helped with spotting/avoiding roadside deer

I wish we had a factory sport bar. Chevy makes one, nissan makes one, toyota probably makes one too

No owner's manual - I meant to mention that one.

I don't mind accessing it online, except the search function on it is not good at all. After 3 attempts on different items, I have yet to find the answer in the manual. Thank goodness for YouTube
