We use the Curt Echo, which serves the purpose, but I’m not fond of it.What brake controller did you go with?
Yes sir, that’s correct.wait so you got a new transmission and its still doing it? did I read that correctly?
No resolution yet? Also curious if you have the 2.3?Yes sir, that’s correct.
something isn't aligned correctly from the factory. its like when you lift your rig to high and you get a driveline shudder and after time it just starts shredding stuff... been thereNo resolution yet? Also curious if you have the 2.3?
That was my thought as well. Driveline related or somethingsomething isn't aligned correctly from the factory. its like when you lift your rig to high and you get a driveline shudder and after time it just starts shredding stuff... been there
I wouldn't come to that conclusion. This is why we have warranties. It seems you are either lucky and have no issues with your trans for 200k or it fails relatively early due to some defect like this instance.wow. so the trans is not up for heavy towing.
i towed a wrangler home monday and didn't have any shuddering but i only towed it 10 miles or so and stayed below 40mph. i know it weighs around 3200 though
I agree, if anyone would have transmission issues it would be me. I drove it like it's stolen and all offroad and inner city traffic.I wouldn't come to that conclusion. It was just on initial accel. I don’t ever drive faster than 65@Morningpride how fast were you going when you were towing?
I drive from northern Illinois to southern Tennessee. 540 miles with a 3500lb travel trailer. It's a pretty flat drive, not many hills. Even though the speed limit is 70mph most of the way, I set the cruise control to 62mph. I haven't ran into any problems. I have the 2.3 engine and I use the Curt Echo
