Did it multiple times without issues. But the 2.7-3.0 is very tight and bendy. I have to use the smallest tube.

Mechanic said it was no problem to do it but I just went too far trying to find the way thru the bends... They were able to get it out the same way it went in.

Won't be doing it on this truck. Back to getting under...

It's so easy on my German cars....and clean.

It's so easy on my German cars....and clean.
So the F-150 has the same setup as my Lincoln. I would assume the Ranger is the same.
You must have dislodged the bleed valve to get the evacuator tube far enough down to pick up oil.
It's possibly, maybe, floating around in the pan now 🤷‍♂️
