Wanted to share a few observations from my experience picking up a set of 5 matching alloy wheels and tires from a Black Diamond Bronco. The Bronco rims have the same bolt pattern, +55 offset, and 7.5 inch width but are 17" instead of the factory Lariat 18's. The wheels came with their factory General Grabber ATx LT265/70/R17 tires which are slightly bigger, although according to a GPS speedo the truck was only 0.5 MPH off at 70 MPH. There's definitely less clearance (due to the larger 265 section width) between the tire and suspension components, but still enough to squeeze your fingers between; I haven't noticed any rubbing yet.
The take-offs still have the factory TPMS sensors installed and I was pleasantly surprised to find that after a couple short trips the truck automatically recognized the new wheels on its own. The stock Ranger wheel center caps are interchangeable with the Bronco rims. Had no clearance issues storing the 5th alloy wheel in the spare tire location.
The General Grabber's are an LT-rated tire in C load range which is different than the stock Lariat Goodyear Wrangler ATS. The door sticker says 30 PSI for the Wranglers but my calculation of the equivalent for a C load tire is 37 PSI.
It's hard to come by weights online but one Ford parts store listed the Lariat alloys at 28 lbs each and the Black Diamond alloys at 26 lbs each. Each stock Lariat wheel with tire weighed in at 62.6 lbs whereas the Black Diamond wheel with tire weighed 71.6 lbs (+9 lbs).
Update 10/8/25: After playing around with different pressures I settled on 39 PSI as a balance between driving feel and mileage. Still happy with them. Haven’t noticed any dramatic differences in MPG.
