Hi all,

I'm waiting for the Fox coilers to show up, shopping tires in the meantime. Does anyone know if a 285/75 will fit with the 1.5" leveling out I've got planned? I imagine clearance in the rear may be an issue as well with the extra 1" or so that the 285/75's have over the 70's. I was actually planning on the 70's, but gave my tire person the wrong size by mistake. If I could clear the extra height, it might be nice to have?

Any input appreciated!

I had a 1.5" spacer lift done/leveliing kit and was told by the shop that I could go up one tire size which would be to a 265/70/17 from the stock tires. for what that's worth...

Thank you for the input! I saw a post linked below where the owner went 285/70-17 with a 2" spacer up front. I'll figure on dialing at least 2" in to the coilovers.
Here's the post I saw:

285/70/17 on non-Raptor

I know people have done 285/70, but I think 285/75 is a stretch. I'm leveled 2" and 275/70 can rub under certain conditions like full lock reverse - although its minor and totally tolerable. Im on +25 offset, which changes things a little though. At the very least I think youd have to trim the liners and maybe remove crash bars.

This is his wheel and tire. Its the back wheel but he daily drives his truck and no rubbing.

Thanks all!
Yeah, I’ll stick with the 70 series tires. Thanks for the info!
The wheels I’ll use are a 35 offset, so we’ll see how that goes as far as any rubbing.
I'll update and post pics as soon as I get everything in gear.

You should be fine with +35, 1.5" level, and 285/70 17. That's my exact setup.
