  1. New to the 6G community, steering wheel cover installed pics!

Now that I look at their site, I'm thinking I did the black (perforated) faux leather. You're right, the only grey is really light. In my truck, it definitely doesn't look "black"....
  2. New to the 6G community, steering wheel cover installed pics!

Hello! I did the faux leather, mostly to see how it wears and for ease of cleaning. The color is charcoal grey, I believe. So far, I’m super impressed! When I do it again (on whatever car it is), I’ll go to the trouble of removing the steering wheel. Getting the airbag out was a piece of cake...
  3. Running 33" tires (255/80/17) pizza cutters on stock suspension, no rub

Nice write up and well done on the setup! That's a really good look all the way around and a much more economical route than the plunge some of us have taken : ) I'm a huge Hankook fan too, I've run them on sports cars and performance sedans for years and get a good chuckle out of how well...
  4. Fox 2.5 2", Nomad wheels and 285/70/17's installed!

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. I had a shop here where I live do the install. They were intimately familiar with the slight challenges in getting the longer struts finessed in and also did the alignment and tire/wheel setup. They have worked on some relatively complex vehicles I've had...
  5. First tow w/ 2025 Lariat

Nice! Thanks for the report, I'm considering a similar trip this summer with a small trailer so the info is great. I towed a small snowcat (also about 1,000 lbs w/trailer) last fall and it did great. That was with a significant hill up to and down from a cabin too. Love your color too, it was a...
  6. Fox 2.5 2", Nomad wheels and 285/70/17's installed!

Be sure and reach out to @DirtDerrick for your Fox stuff when you're ready! He can get Eibach as well.
  7. Fox 2.5 2", Nomad wheels and 285/70/17's installed!

Yeah, that's part of the "black appearance package". I might not have opted for it, but it was the only Marsh Grey I could find, and I was glad I got it once I saw it. Especially with the shell, the rest of the black features work well.
  8. Fox 2.5 2", Nomad wheels and 285/70/17's installed!

Thanks all! Yeah @HighDesertRanger they're the 35 offset. I wanted minimal reveal past the fenders and the 35 offset on the 8.5" wheel pretty much nailed it. I like the almost flush profile of the wheel too : ) The installer I work with did an Eibach kit on a 20205 Ranger the week before mine...
  9. Fox 2.5 2", Nomad wheels and 285/70/17's installed!

Hi all, I had the new Fox 2.5 coilovers, wheels and tires installed earlier this week and wanted to share how it turned out. First off, *HUGE* shoutout and thanks to @DirtDerrick for helping me source not only the coilovers and rear shocks, but the Nomad wheels as well! He gave me all sorts of...
  10. Nomad Wheels - Any experience here?

I would bet the 0 offset would rub, given the stock 55 offset. I went with the 35 offset, and I imagine I'll have to remove the crash bars (with 275/70/17's), but we'll see. I'm having the wheels/tires/2" lift done Monday.
  11. FOX Coilovers Leveling Kit coming Q1 2026

I just dropped my truck off for the install of Fox 2.5 coilovers, 17" Nomad wheels and 275/70/17 Toyos. Stay tuned, I'll post pics next week when it's done!
  12. (New) TPMS questionā€¼ļø

Nice, thanks for the input! I keep forgetting the spare, and that it will have a sensor as well (with my luck, Ford included the different sensor on the spare than what the main wheels have, lol!). Does the system in the truck track the psi level on the spare? I've never looked or noticed it...
  13. (New) TPMS questionā€¼ļø

Hi all! I’m in the dreaded ā€œmid-2025 build yearā€ and trying to source the correct tpms units for a new set of wheels. After no solid info from tire stores or the dealer, I bought some dual-mhz sensors and an activator tool. My question is would it be possible to test them before I have the...
  14. 285/75-17 vs 285/70-17: Will it fit with 1.5" lift up front?

Thanks all! Yeah, I’ll stick with the 70 series tires. Thanks for the info! The wheels I’ll use are a 35 offset, so we’ll see how that goes as far as any rubbing. I'll update and post pics as soon as I get everything in gear.
  15. 285/75-17 vs 285/70-17: Will it fit with 1.5" lift up front?

Nice! Would love to see a picture whenever you get a chance
  16. 285/75-17 vs 285/70-17: Will it fit with 1.5" lift up front?

Thank you for the input! I saw a post linked below where the owner went 285/70-17 with a 2" spacer up front. I'll figure on dialing at least 2" in to the coilovers. Here's the post I saw: 285/70/17 on non-Raptor
  17. 285/75-17 vs 285/70-17: Will it fit with 1.5" lift up front?

Hi all, I'm waiting for the Fox coilers to show up, shopping tires in the meantime. Does anyone know if a 285/75 will fit with the 1.5" leveling out I've got planned? I imagine clearance in the rear may be an issue as well with the extra 1" or so that the 285/75's have over the 70's. I was...
  18. Multiple safety alerts on the dashboard and the app

My ā€˜25 Lariat 2.7 is in for the same issue(s) right now. They found a ā€œU 3000 code in the gateway moduleā€ and have to order a new ecm (?). The main thing I noticed was that the software has t updated for 90 days and I couldn’t sync my phone to the truck (CarPlay ā€œworksā€, as much as it ever...
  19. 2025 Marsh Gray XLT 2.7L build

I read all that! : ) Nicely done, the flares look especially good with the Marsh Grey/BAP. That’s the color/package I have, fun to know what it might look like šŸ‘ Great write up!
  20. FOX Coilovers Leveling Kit coming Q1 2026

I’m planning on the 2.0’s. I’m mostly on-road, not towing a ton and don’t plan on a winch. My main focus is to keep the ride quality intact.
