I can't say I remember the truck doing it with stock shocks, but I assume it did. I'm running 5100's right now. I'm finding that if there is an obstacle in the road that both rear tires will hit equally (speed bump or a dip) that the back end feels like it's constantly bottoming out. This is with an empty bed. It'll hit hard and then bounce. The 5100's in the rear were for the previous model ranger, and I'm not the only one running them, but I don't see how there could be a huge difference in weight or travel between the 2 body styles. It's driving me crazy. I considered trimming the bump stops to allow for a little more up travel, not sure that's a great idea though. I may reach out to Bilstein and see what they say.
