I bought my SXT,i hated the plastic steering wheel….
So,thanks to this thread,mine feels and looks so much better.I ‘twas a tricky process for having never done this before,and i could probably do it quicker next time lol.

I know this is an old thread but I'm looking to put a cover on my STX steering wheel. The photos in this thread look amazing. So my question is for those of you that bought from stitchingcover.com what material did you get?
Alcantara , Leather , Suede, Carbon , or Faux Leather? Also to the people that posted photos is that Black or Grey? Thanks

I did the faux leather, mostly to see how it wears and for ease of cleaning. The color is charcoal grey, I believe. So far, I’m super impressed!
When I do it again (on whatever car it is), I’ll go to the trouble of removing the steering wheel. Getting the airbag out was a piece of cake, and having the back of the wheel unencumbered would probably cut install time/trouble by 1/2.

Thank You for the info. The color of yours is exactly what I am looking for. It's so hard to tell on their website. The grey on their website looks much lighter than yours.

Now that I look at their site, I'm thinking I did the black (perforated) faux leather. You're right, the only grey is really light. In my truck, it definitely doesn't look "black"....
