3D print center console storage

This is a prototype of a storage compartment that I'm working on.
It's small so that it fits between the Muslogy console padding straps. If I like it and get some black filament I'll reprint. A magnet will be used to keep closed.

is it held on with double sided tape? how does it stay in place?

I some that the door had pockets in it and opened less than 90 degrees so when the console lid is all the way up, the items don’t slide out.

Interesting idea
I was figuring registration and insurance card. Perhaps if someone broke in they would mis seeing this cubby in the dark vs glove box

When you perfect the product, will you market this item yourself or sell concept & prototype to another manufacturor / provider?

I'd put a smalll chamfer around the bottom of the tab. It looks like it might break off easily

Yes I rounded the top and bottom of the lid so when opening it clears better.
New design will have a piece coming up to hold contents in. If that makes sense. I'll also attach magnet onto it which will connect to lid.

Nothing fancy just use empty space to hold registration, insurance card and perhaps a few dollars.

An update, just test fit and the bottom of the arm rest is concaved. Make a shim vs doing a whole reprint and test fitted.
Still too cold here in the NE to work on comfortably.
