A-Pillar Wiring Inspection and BMC Update Recall

I'm just curious if they're actually dropping the headliner to inspect or if they can do it from the visor. NBD.

No they don't drop the headliner. I think they just check to see if the lights work and check for a code. Definitely updated the BCM as all my tire pressures were blank. Had mine done with mobile service. He was done in 20 minutes.

I had everything done at once. I guess i would be curious if there was a visual inspection as the liner was dropped for the airbag recall.

I had this recall done yesterday by Ford Mobile service. The tech checked for DTC's and found none. He updated the software and left. We talked a bunch, so he was at my home about 45 minutes. He told me they had checked 15-20 Rangers and have not come across one with any wiring shorts yet. I have a 2025 XLT.

Mine was done Wednesday. BCM update only. Now going through and fixing my settings. Otherwise, doesn't seem to be a big deal.
