Hey everyone, I recently bought a 2024 XLT Sport used from my Ford dealer. It only has 13,000 miles on it so it was a great deal. The issue is since I bought it used, I wasn’t able to get all of the options that I would have wanted. Primarily the locking differential. I’m looking into trying to add a locking diff, and ideally I’d like to have it all be Ford factory parts, and have the proper button in my center console and everything. Off road drive modes would be nice too. Does anyone have any experience doing this? I found the locking diff, install kit, and button on the Ford parts website. I’m curious what other parts I might need, and whether the truck already has a harness for the locker. I assume I would also need some sort of programming to be done as well. Any help I can get would be much appreciated!
