These were very easy to install, simple removal of the old XL, XLT, LARIAT side fender badging, clean area and install with attached adhesive straps. I thought there would be bigger flow through openings from engine bay as I bought these more for function than form. However you can still feel heat flowing out of them when engine is warmed up and parked, so they will somewhat serve that purpose.
(Important note) when putting these in, align the vent in hole, push the bottom of the vent downward as far as it will go, or the top of the plastic will not sit flush with body. The adhesive tape thickness is visible without doing this. Had to remove one and reinstall.
