Any “Real World “ experience with Signature Lux RP20 Carplay Interface?

The CarPlay interface? I have seen a couple advertisements and video reviews and it seems pretty cool. Won’t be watching Netflix while I drive but it seems to have more capabilities than CarPlay. One of the the reviews said it seemed to limit the ability to make phone calls.

Hello, this is Signature Lux. Using the RP24 Pro will not interfere with the calling option, as the device itself supports both CarPlay and Android Auto.

Some users may experience issues because they are still connecting their phone directly to the car. When using the RP24 Pro, it is essential to connect your phone to the device, not the car. The same applies to Bluetooth—your phone must pair with the RP24 Pro to ensure you can answer calls and use other features seamlessly. Once Bluetooth is connected, you can answer calls directly through the device.

In saying that, the RP24 Pro will still have full functionality even with no phone connected, because it runs in Android system, as long as there is internet connection (either thru wifi, hotspot or sim card).

We are happy to assist our customers with setup. We have multiple occasions when we offer video call support for those who need extra guidance. We just have to work out the time difference

Additionally, some customers may notice changes in the icons or interface compared to what is advertised. This is because we frequently update the system to ensure the best user experience.
