Anyone installed Fitcamx for US spec 25 ranger?

Friend recommended this for a discreet option, and I don't want a giant brick on the dash. Amazon listing has people saying it doesn't work with 24/25 vehicle. Their website has a couple reviews saying it worked fine. Seems like it can't be both ways...

Anyone here bought one for their 24/25 and it fit properly?

I know with mine, a 25 XLT, I don't have the rain sensing wipers so I can't hook up to that which is what Fitcam recommends... I could hook up to the auto dimming rearview mirror but would require a dongle to do that. or I could hardwire or run. to the OBD port.... Ive used Fitcam in other vehicles and it works great...

Yea unfortunately people were saying the housing doesn't even fit in the Amazon reviews, not just that they might have to run power/hardwire.

you can contact Fitcam they are pretty good about replying to questions.

It wouldn't fit right in my 25 ranger lariat. The whole housing is off.

oh shoot that bad to hear if fitcam not fit. I was planning to eventually get dash cam, liked idea of low profile install.

Yes I just installed one with the rear camera option. I was skeptical as I had read some posts elsewhere that this model didn't fit the G6 Ranger. I sent FITCAMX the part number of my mirrior trim and they told me to order this:
FITCAMX Dash Cam for Ford Ranger (2024-2025, 5th Gen) Wildtrak, Raptor × 1
HD2-D4400 / Front 4K+ Rear 1080P+ 128G

Just installed it, and it fits and seems to work very well. Haven't been out driving but set up and tested it in the driveway. nice video quality and the interface with the phone app was decent.
