Hey guys,

I am wondering: As you know the Raptor 2026 come stock with BFG 285/70R17.

I wonder if BFG 305/70R17 would fit on the stock wheel without a lift and no rubbing? I am simply looking for more aggresive stance and want a E rating anyway since I travel on gravel/boulder paths. I am aware that the tire are 11 pounds heavier, therefore changing the MPG.

These are mostly 34 inches, so a good trade-off between 33's and 35's.

Any of you guys did it? Any insight would be awesome.

Thanks

I have BFG 305/70R17’s on mine but I also have a 2 1/2 leveling kit in the front and aftermarket wheels at 25 mm backspacing. It might be closer with the stock wheels, but I’m pretty sure you would be fine without a lift. I agree that the 34” is the sweet spot. No rub on mine and I still have the crash bars installed.

The stock wheel are 8.5 inches anyway. I just realized that they are probably too narrow for a 305 anyway. I read that 305 requires at least 9.5 inches wheel.

So I guess the limit would be a 295 for a safe fit on the stock wheels.

I read that an 8” wheel is the minimum to use with a 305. You may want to research that a little more. I think it would be safe on the stock wheel. Hopefully!
I like the stock wheels a lot, but felt the offset was not ideal for what I like.
